Tyrers the coach company that Bolton use for away travel are making people book with them directly for the Rovers game.

Obviously don’t want any of their dosh going through the club.

Can’t say I remember a situation this bad at a club so far up the pyramid for a long time - Portsmouth maybe?

Bennett bigging Jack Grealish up on twitter. Shared his goal from last night with the flame emoji and wrote "ridiculous player"

I find this odd. Bennett playing the nice guy stuff with the fans is one thing, but opposition players? I just find it strange and unnecessary. He's a professional player, not a 12 year old child. Does he want a Grealish poster from Match magazine for his bedroom wall?

With ticket sales as they are they'll only need about 6 coaches for the whole lot of them.

Portsmouth properly suffered through their financial chaos - relegation down to League Two, administrations, points deductions. It seems Bolton have so far got away lightly. Relegation to League One is the least they deserve after what has gone on this season. It would be a travesty for the league if they had found a way to survive ahead of those who pay their bills. The interesting bit will be the summer - income dropping, players will be looking to get out, potential embargo (if the league get round to it). If they haven't got the takeover done by then I can see them dropping a lot further.

Thought that too. Don't mind if it's Messi or someone else we're never going to come up against and therefore completely separate from Rovers, but it's weird for a player in the same league.

We should be aiming to be up there with teams like Villa and their 'ridiculous' players, not admiring them online from the bottom half of the table.

A quote I saw from the Ipswich forum...

I’ve enjoyed this season more than any recent one. For me football is about emotion and entertainment- take both of those out and it just becomes a chore. Genuinely, I’d rather be in this position than where we were at the end of Mick’s time.

That's on the basis they expect to go down and be challenging for promotion and bounce back immediately. Give it a few years of stagnation in League One and they'll soon change their tune.

I suppose that's easier than doing the unthinkable and admitting they were wrong to hound McCarthy out....
