Well done to Brentford. Another credit to the best league in the World (The Championship) . . .

You couldn't have really got a more 'nothing to play for' game for them  . . no local needle, just 2 weeks away from beach season, yet they stepped up!!

Ah, such fond memories.

I do love to reminisce. ??

We the people of this forum demand a referendumb! on bringing CP back.

Especially considering he can't even read the forum now it's switched to 'logged in posters only'. There's no fun it it for any of us.

Pressure off Norwich now. Promoted barring losing last two, Leeds winning both with a ten goal swing...

Step forward Mr. Brereton

Leeds and Sheff Utd both have Ipswich in their last two games, so assuming that's a win for both, and Sheff Utd GD is much superior to Leeds... :)

Blades basically just have to beat Ipswich at home - couldn’t be better really

Then the playoff preview Leeds v Villa on Sunday.

Hilarious.

Fuck Leeds and the bucket they rode in on.

  • Moderation Lead

Sheffield United play Ipswich right before we play Norwich on Saturday night, whereas Leeds don’t play until Sunday midday. They’ve basically got to hope Sheffield United slip up against a team that’s already been relegated, at home....

There’s also the small matter of reversing a goal difference that is inferior by 10.

If Sheffield United beat Ipswich at home then it's effectively over. It would take an unfathomable goal swing for Leeds to get into the top two at that point. They've almost certainly thrown away automatic promotion over the last four days.

Given the way Sheff U took Hull apart, that might be 15 or more when Leeds kick off.
