If Bielsa is a 'world class' manager then how come he's managing Leeds in the 2nd division and not Man City or Chelsea?

Because for the first time in the last umpteenth years we have spent big money on a signing, the manager/coach who is the most important man at any club .

I believe Bielsa is on 50k/60k salary a week

Absolutely no way were visiting supporters attacked in the Lowfield Stand in the late 80s. In fact I'm almost certain that day we were in the Lowfields and the visitors were in the south so nonsense.

True the visitors were in the south stand  ?

As the game is now with minimum physical contact players are encouraged to go down at will deliberately stopping the game.

It's cheating the fans imo.

It was tongue in cheek pal, sorry if it came across a bit sarkey

He probably means that the South Stand was full so a few overspilled into the Lowfields and tried to blend in but failed.  I recall we had a lot over that day, it was during our 22 game unbeaten run which ended a week or 2 after this at Stoke.  I've never really experienced any bother with Leeds and a few of years ago went in the Peacock before the game with some mates from up here and it was surprisingly fine.  On saying that I don't have any time for Leeds, it's a rugby town isn't it?

The only real issues I have seen with Leeds fans during the 90s onwards was getting a chasing for no reason at Elland Rd at Easter 93 (lost 5-2, Strachan and Chapman ran the show)

And then in and outside the Darwen End after Shearer scored the last minute winner in the Matt Busby minutes silence game in 94.

To be fair very little over the years for a club with Leeds reputation.

We have no beef with Rovers mate.

You honesty believe Darren ? I'm 50 and seen Leeds all over Europe and been filled in. Attacking Blackburn women and kids in the late 80s ?

He should do because it's correct, mate. To go further, there were actually Leeds 'women' stood at the back pointing out where the Rovers fans were sat. I sat on my hands mate when Sellars hit the post that would have given us the 3-2 win. Spout and deny all you want about who was what and whatever, it's irrelevant, they were hardly brave lads were they?

Why ? It says I didn't want me and my mate to get tw***ed as we were surrounded by a bunch of morons and nowhere to go, what does it say to you?

I'm getting bored now, come on what, mate, FFS? I'm beginning to wonder if you were one of the cowards, mate. Were you?

Enough's enough: I hope you have a good day out and a shit afternoon.

COYB!! (mate!)

Be a very difficult game this. Darragh needs to get his head right and not make stupid decisions. If we play like we did forst half at Stoke then we'll beat anyone. Joe Rothwell will be key, get him on the ball and he will run the show.

Seen Abit of Leeds this season and have been impressed. Played some positive exciting football. I know most people hate Leeds but I've always had a soft spot for them. I had the yellow and blue kit with thistle on when I was a kid because I really liked it before i understood the error of my ways. I grew up watching old Leeds videos of Chapman, Strachan, McAllister and later enjoyed watching Smith, bowyer, kewell. Really exciting side. As for today I think you will Nick it but it will be the hardest three points you have fought for all season. On our day we are very hard to break down. With nyambe and mulgrew out you will probably have to much for us. 1-2 Leeds. Hope I'm wrong

Agree on Rothwell and hopefully Mowbray will start playing him regularly

Sky to officially hold a day of mourning.

Btw....did you know they had 7,000 fans at Ewood today?

Had to watch on the box due to pathetic pointless kick off time and i'm surprised to say I don't think the commentator mentioned more than a dozen times.

He must have thought Leeds would've brought more.........
