Yes very true about the car park, I have no idea why those car parks aren't used. Maybe a question to ask club.

I would agree that Rover are the best thing in Blackburn. I wouldn't go to the town centre for much nowadays

Still hitting the cinema , Chaddy?

I'm not sure how you judge this Stuart. My annual income is below the tax threshold. Anyone who works probably has a greater income than I do.

An ST in the JWL works out at around £15/match. As I'm now 65 it's £9. I believe the club has a monthly payment option. I'm not judging anyone but if, say, two games a month at £30 is stretching the budget then football should not be part of the equation.

If you expect Rovers to offer STs at much below £15/game I'd suggest you're in cloud cuckoo land, along with everyone else on here who can run the club and manage the team better.

Frankly so many think they can do a better job I find it hard to understand why BRFCS posters haven't launched a takeover bid.

Prices are not that expensive but if you factor in many households where they are looking at possibly 2 adults and a couple of teenagers it adds up. Do Rovers do a family ticket or a discounted second adult ST at the same address or some kind of other offer that mitigates the cost. I can remember the struggle we had paying for 2 adults and 3 kids when ours were younger and we had a good household income.

Price is not the only factor in enticing people to Ewood and a number of other things put people who were once stalwarts off. But if you rely heavily on St holders for your income and  crowds then you have to do more than ask Where are they? You have to actively seek them.

Of course, Paul, if I can’t do it personally then I have to assume nobody can. So Waggott should admit that and walk then and we will save an expensive wage.

You think it’s cloud cuckoo land to want ST prices, with a full outlay at the start of the season - with zero inspirational signings - in the second tier - losing to the likes of Charlton - at anything below £345?

And you believe these people should not expect to have football as part of their lives?

Wow.

But you are in good company, so does Waggott. Sadly his current catchment demographic does not agree so we will continue to rattle along with sub-10k fans in a stadium built for three times that. The longer that continues the more chance there is of further stand closures or the continued crap atmosphere.

A little imagination is needed to subsidise cheaper tickets or it will only get worse.

That is exactly why I said my statement does not apply to you.

Obviously aren’t going to be big sellers this year, but even in a season like this I believe they usually sell 500 or so. Not to be sniffed at.

So surely they should be on sale by now  as folk think of Christmas presents? (Enter gags about being on Santa’s naughty list here).

A club going through the motions on and off the pitch.

Amazing that Venkys put up with it.

Imagine a daddy so rich that his children can waste his money on something he would have had zero interest in - all the while hated by fans. Meanwhile another family couldn’t wait to get rid of what was a potential huge money-spinner, that their daddy loved, because they had zero interest in it - despite their dad being worshipped by fans.

Are the Raos really that stupid and/or that rich? They must have some motive for hanging on to us while putting with mediocrity. They must!

If they had any interest or demand for success he’d be gone by now. Mowbray is eventually going to end up like Bowyer, at odds with - to the point of gesticulating on the pitch to - the disillusioned fans. Keeping managers beyond their time has been a dreadful feature of Venkys time. Seemingly only acting when nudged by the bank and then selling players to make ends meet.

Experience says we have about a 2.5 year shelf life to progress before forced regression sets in. Ironically that’s 12 months more than the average life of a manager at any ‘normal’ club!

To paraphrase Churchill, on today of all days: an aberration, wrapped in a dysfunction, inside an abnormality.

Have to say if I was marketing Rovers' half season tickets I'd hang on as long as possible in the hope of thinking up a reason why someone would buy one.

A full on relegation scrap is more exciting than  "the battle for 15th"?

You have earned a role as head of marketing. I'm impressed.

We need to offer what Leicester have, a 10 game season ticket where you can pick and choose from any 10 games until the end of the season. Would definitely go down a treat with those who can't always make it due to work etc... but don't want to pay for the full year.

I have mention this idea time after time for the same reasons.

Completely agree, to be honest that would suit me down to the ground as I rarely make midweek games, and will probably miss the two games over Christmas this year.

I probably make an average of 14/15 home games a season despite having a season ticket, so it's something I would definitely look at.

Hopefully they bring this out at the same time as the traditional half season ticket. See which sells best. We already know the answer of course.

Hopefully they will discuss it at the Fans Forum meeting on Monday.

Neither will happen because they have already done all they can.

That’s a poor number considering their position

Not brilliant but decent given it is only mid November and they only went on sale last week. Suspect it is more than we will sell in total when we eventually get around to putting them on sale.

The Leicester type thing sounds good but they are a Prem team in a large city who can count on large gates whatever at the moment. Not as an attractive proposition to Rovers who want every penny then can from a small hardcore.  They'll not entertain anything that might put people off full STs or half STs in favour of a picking and choosing ticket.

But all this is just window-dressing,  when there is a huge issue about that lack of any passion/entertainment/drive on the pitch.

I love Rovers, but, as a fan of 50 years, I am really angry with myself that I committed to a season ticket.

And therein lies the problem Mark . Waggott will be crapping  himself that those like you who currently buy a full ST will downgrade to a lesser offer at which point his stretch target bollox which no doubt gets reported to India etc will be down the pan .

The fact that an offer of that type might attract 12000 people will be lost on him ......” but what about if they all choose the Millwall home game to stay away Madam and there’s only 5000 in the stadium ?”

“speak to Suhail about it Steve , I have some chickens to throttle “
