The title of that article should be re-worded: Rangers friendly on illegal stream was interrupted by porn

What a shocker.

The article says this happened to Rangers TV, which is Rangers' official channel?

If we are to assume that its our second team tomorrow and our main 11 as it stands on Saturday, id go:

Walton

Bennett Magloire Mulgrew Bell

Rankin-Costello Evans Buckley Downing

Gallagher Brereton

tomorrow then on Saturday:

Walton

Nyambe Adarabyio Lenihan Hart

Travis Johnson

Armstrong Dack Rothwell

Graham

Assuming Adarabyio signs, we dont have our main CB in for the weekend and that Chapman is not considered for Blackpool, otherwise id stick Armstrong in tomorrow instead of Rankin-Costello. May aswell give Walton both games.

Obviously it doesnt matter who plays in friendlies, more trying to figure out where we stand in terms of our best and second best teams.

Tony would see that as blasphemy having Bennett in the second team.

Looks like Chapman and the Nut got a useful run out for the u23s tonight. Chapman scored twice and assisted and the Nut also scored. No match report, just twitter updates from Rivers at this stage, so unsure if they played 90mins but hopefully at least an hour into the legs

The only thing certain is that no matter what happens in these two friendlys, Mulgrew, Evans & Bennett will start the opening game of the season, as predicted when last season ended.

I could accept 1 , even 2 out of the 3 starting, but all 3 starting would mean something wasn't done right in the window. I know there is still time to being players in after this, but I do believe in the saying "start as you mean to go on"

This window was the perfect opportunity to move on from those three.

If those three all start, we'll have the exact same issues  as we had last season no matter who is playing with/in front of them.

So an unbeaten pre-seasons, with wins over Barrow, Rochdale, Macclesfield, Mansfield and Bury, and an away draw to Rangers.

Can we get another win at the weekend in sunny Blackpool?

Also to note; Ben Brereton is top goal scorer this pre-season.

Interesting debate on not playing a Premier League team...

Saturday saw fellow Championship sides Luton (Norwich) Charlton (Aston Villa), Barnsley (Sheffield Utd), Brentford (Bournemouth) and Birmingham (Brighton) all thumped at home!

Hull drew away at Doncaster as well.

Also, I assume everyone saw David Raya’s goals against?

I saw the one Raya let in behind closed doors against Norwich reserves and was shocked. Routine shot to left corner of the net from unmarked forward at knee height from centre left just outside the box which he could see all the way. Those are ones you could put your house on Raya stopping last season. He didn't even get remotely near it.

Apart from the Rangers game, where apparently we had one bad half and one good one, you cannot take anything out of those games other than the players getting a run-out and new ones getting to know their new chums.

That's not the standard we'll come up against as well you know. There's a strategy somewhere there----possibly trying to create some momentum before the season proper. Time will tell if it worked.
