Amo
What ever happened to that Roque Santa something, i forget the rest? Just proves he's a crock and wasn't feigning injury for Rovers.
dingles staying down 4ever
What ever happened to that Roque Santa something, i forget the rest? It was on Football Focus last Saturday saying he was rejoining City's first team for training last Monday so by now probably injured again. AndyNeil
Just proves he's a crock and wasn't feigning injury for Rovers. Did anybody from within the club ever suggest he was?
philipl
Did anybody from within the club ever suggest he was? Apparently Ince did and was playing RSC towards the end of his time at Rovers against the advice of a medic. That came from a pretty reliable source within the club. American
When Ince was confronted by the heckler on video, didn't he say he was forced to play RSC? (And this is an example of why he wasn't ready - Sam wouldn't have let anyone force him to do anything.)
Commondore
Roque Santa Cruz, at 34, came on a sub for the last 15 minutes Malaga in the Spanish first division today. Apparently he's made 3 starts and 12 appearances from the bench this season, scoring 2 goals. One of my favorite strikers to have played for Rovers, glad to see he's still plying his trade at the top level despite being plagued by injuries throughout his career.
