Sam Gallagher Returns

Its because you insist on defending the indefensible. We can see with our own eyes that he's playing wide but you insist he isn't.

This did make me laugh. 🤣

Can we just agree that Sam's job is scoring goals. He hasn't done. ?

At least Brereton can say he hasn't been on the pitch.

Sam would have a better chance of doing that if he wasn’t our wide

Ryan Nyambe. 0 assists.

Amarii Bell. 0 assists.

Serious width from full back.

That's were the " wingerless " formation is all going wrong.

Either play him up the middle or leave him on the bench. It's as simple as that for me.

What make him do it on after Stoke game?

Because he wanted to? Perhaps he finally couldn't contain himself any longer at the sheer stupidity of it.

He did have a break and came back a different poster.

He’s regressed into Chaddy 1.0 again recently, alas.

He's worse.

I don't know, Mr Trump seems to have done all right

This is bonkers, ability and performance levels, sure they can be debated.

How can a matter of fact and the position he’s been played be debated?

No ifs, no buts, no coconuts he’s played on the wing most of the season

Well a funny conclusion to the tale.

Gallagher plays up front and scores.

Big Baby Graham takes a crap penalty and potentially costs us the game.

I think Gallagher's goal totally vindicates the article. Wide striker, inside forward, or as it has legitimately been out and out winger, whatever “wider” position he’s held it’s been totally ineffective. Through the middle he scored. Sharpe was merely pointing out the bloody obvious before Graham got his knickers in a twist. If anything I read it as a minor criticism of Mowbray rather than Gallagher.

For all I’m pleased for Gallagher tonight I still remain of the opinion it’s £5 million wasted.

Yes he scored, but it really was a peach of a ball from Nyambe and the goalie dithered. The missed header at the end reinforced my view he just doesn’t have it. Barry Endean would’ve put that in.

Jim is a prize one prick Chaddy.

He has 2 twitter friends who he needs to try and impress but he's way out on his own with this one.

Jim has pinned it to try and save face.  When he realises he can't save face he will be bottom-feeding by quoting people off here again.

I'd have fancied Barry Manilow for it to be honest.

Was just about to share this, but Chaddy beat me to it. The Penwortham screenshotter getting mugged off was awesome.
Especially with him lacking that much self awareness that he called someone else a coward.
Sit down you absolute whopper.

I don't care what anyone says, for a tall guy he's a poor header of the ball. Maybe he closes his eyes.

A journalist by trade too, real solidarity there.

That said he does seem to get a perverse pleasure in screen grabbing every typo he spots in the LT.

Odd (and seemingly very embittered) bloke.

Embarrassing for the bloke, but you do wonder if something else is going on there. A repeated compulsion to put others down is not usually a sign of a contented person.
