Joar
wth? the ref just spent 45 seconds giving a free kick, and then doesn't add it on to the injury time?
Backroom Popular Post Tom Posted October 19, 2019 Backroom Popular Post Share Posted October 19, 2019 I for one am utterly shocked that we didn’t get better after taking our best player off
Husky
Argghh. We haven't won for a whole month. Or are we on a 1 game unbeaten run.
Roverinbelfast
So frustrating and annoying. Great first half Poor second half The reasons why we didn't get all 3 points is a piss poor referring decision and a bloddy awful mistake by our keeper. Not. Good. Popular Post Amo
Holtby, Dack, different class in the first half. Good to see Mowbray's half-time team talk worked a treat. Nyambe & Tosin did well. Walton wrong-footed for their second. Not good enough Huddersfield are a bunch of fannies. The referee was a melt, constantly fell for their theatrics and didn't give Dack any protection. davulsukur
Mowbray was summed up when we saw the starting 11 and people started to get excited. Then we find out the formation and it's a typical Mowbray baffling set up. The ref had an absolute mare but we were awful in that second half.

SIMON GARNERS 194
Just the usual fare....not good enough to win.
Mr. E
The referee beheaded us. Season is over anyway. There is absolutely nothing left to lose - we need to tell the FA to fuck themselves and refuse to play more games unless they allow this one to be replayed. They can throw us out to non-league if they want, doesn't matter, at least maybe we'll get rid off Venkys in this way. What is the alternative? Continue treading in this absolute refereeing shit forever?
jim mk2
Hopeless really. The season is dead

Backroom Tom Posted October 19, 2019 Backroom Share Posted October 19, 2019 Evans was about to come on at 2-1 then they scored so he changed his mind then did it anyway He doesn’t know how to positively change a game
savage90
How has Bennett been keeping Nyambe out the team at RB? Cunningham, Williams, Tosin, Nyambe at the back before today and we probably would have won some games. He is NOT picking the best team and still doesn't know his best 11.
Bbrovers2288
Season is dead, top 6 is laughable with our back line and we don’t have a goal scoring striker. Dack and holtby aside we are not much to write home about other than an ageing downing
rovers11
Same old deficiencies as last season. If you can’t defend then you’ll go nowhere.
Waggy76
Only saw 2nd half due to work .... Mowbray half time teamtalk put us on the back foot !!! 2 poor teams but the referee didn't help the game .... Very poor goalkeeping probably cost us the points ... Why did Holtby go off ?? davefarnworth
Wow! If that team can stay up? And Huddersfield aren't that better. Sell up Venkys
Hasta
Usual defensive masterclass. Graham will still be better than Gallagher when he's 44, let alone 34. Edited October 19, 2019 by Hasta
Backroom DE. Posted October 19, 2019 Backroom Share Posted October 19, 2019 Scoring two goals against a poor team at home should mean a win. Unfortunately thanks to our embarrassing defending that isn't the case. However, rather than work on this obvious Achilles heel we decided to let the lads spend the last week sunning themselves abroad. No ambition whatsoever.
mustard
Mowbray’s substitutions killed off our chances of winning that game. Their equaliser was a gut-punch but the decisions made by our manager stifled any drive or momentum we had and if anything, left us more vulnerable to losing the game.
Sparks Rover
Needed to get a goal and he brings Evans on. Sums Mowbray up really. Time to go.
Guest
Not won from behind at Ewood since New Years Day. Absolute shite and further proof that Mowbray doesn’t have a clue. Crap subs, no reaction to Cowley’s changes, abysmal.
booth
I can sum up the game in three similar sentences. WTF was the ref doing? WTF was Walton doing? WTF was Mowbray doing?
