Hope that Venkys have gone by the 150th anniversary.

6 years from now at this rate we'll be more than a quarter of a billion in debt.

Seven years of abject grief but the two most recent years as model overseas owners.

Philip, Apart from providing cash ( which increases the debt ) what other actions make them model owners ?

They don't attend matches.

They don't communicate with the fans.

They waste the manager's time by making him fly to India mid-season.

They don't seem to show any interest at all.

Seriously, why do you think they are now model owners ?

And.......

Decision making appears damagingly slow.

The Ewood executives appear to have little if any power.

What was the turning point two years ago?

Just to update your Rovers knowledge, our first match was a 1-1 draw against Church (a part now of Hyndburn - Accrington) on the 11th December 1875. I presume it was quite friendly. Parsonblue will let us know! 😁

Yes Alejandro. We support a fabulous football club with a long and illustrious history, an iconic and beautiful kit and a record of achievement unsurpassed by any town of similar size. Present difficulties should not be a reason to deter you or any other fans from celebrating and supporting the Rovers. We have a history of punching above our weight, overcoming obstacles and representing with honour a Northern town itself characterised by the honest endeavour of straightforward folk. Be proud.

Lest we forget. A very moving BBC 1 show by Gary Lineker about his grandad's time in Italy tonight. I don't seem to have such history in my family. All weavers from Ossy! But a time to remember very dark times. And whilst we have had an approaching ninth anniversary of idiot rule, it's about time the Loons properly respected our club.

And the 150?

My guess is it is something to do with the club being 150 years old in 6 years time.

Really?

Decision making appears damagingly slow.

The Ewood executives appear to have little if any power (Waggott: "As a club we've done everything", Cheston: "Coyle was the outstanding candidate")

Not one successful manager appointed in 9 (nine) years.
