Oh dear God - really? That's the plan? This isn't Field of Dreams. "Back him and we shall display bog-standard defending skills, we will gain in fitness, organisation, square pegs will slither into round holes and Brereton will come good".

Invariably that occurs when managers are given time

This doesn't surprise me,  it's on a par with many of his utterances over recent months. Absolute nonsense. It does show though that he's floundering really badly now trying to explain away the dross we've been serving up.

Hopefully even Waggott and /or the owners will start to take note.

Would Waggott really sack him though. Does he even have the power or authority to do so? Even if he did I just know it was probably take months of back and forth to India. See that's the problem.

Our last 3 managerial appointments have had a promotion on there CV.

This is exactly the same as you calling out the league 1 stat.

Things have changed since the start of the eras.

Of those 3 Coyle and Mowbray were not exactly in demand. Lambert made sure he had a release clause in his contract if working for Venkys really was as bad as he was told - it was and he walked

Care to share some examples of managers who can't organise a defence, who assembled a side that would consistently concede two or more goals and are kept in their jobs...then miraculously come good?

We need those imaginary guys.

Irrelevant. You deal with the situation you have, not the one you want

You've given yourself away with that comment that you are obviously on the wind up.

How can it be irrelevant that the manager's dreadful transfer dealings look set to leave us in severe difficulty both on the pitch and in terms of FFP?

Stop living in fear, you make this same point over and over again, it’s tiresome and annoying

You want  Mowbray fired as an act of revenge or some kind of punishment beating. If FFP is kicking in to hurt us the likes of Chris Hughton are not going to be interested in joining and it doesn't matter who was responsible - if indeed it was Mowbray. Meanwhile the likes of Peter Reid and Iain Dowie get appointed........

I'd hope the owners would bypass Waggott completely and merely instruct him to hand Mowbray his P45.

If Waggott was worth his salt he should be reporting back to the owners that in his view the manager is struggling badly. I bet he isn't though.
