4th ROUND DAY

Recommended Posts

Both Rovers and Wigan will now have a free date on January 25th. I wonder if they will show a bit of initiative and rearrange the Wednesday night fixture to that day

We're playing QPR at home that day, which will still go ahead if they lose to Swansea today.

QPR 3-0 up, so over to you Wigan and Rovers.

(No chance, by the way).

I think that the QPR game will be played on the Tuesday or Wednesday the following week. It's the way they arrange fixtures around the cup.

I remember back in 2008 we were scheduled to play away at Aston Villa mid week in Feb, they had made the first 1000 away tickets £10 for adults to try and entice a following.

Both us and Villa got knocked out of the FA Cup in the third round, so they used there common sense and rescheduled it for the 4th round weekend, it saw a really good Rovers following attend and we drew 1-1.

So it's happened before, but there's no chance it will happen here.

Didn’t realise the QPR game was on 4th round weekend. Booked hospitality, trains and hotels for it. The club should have said something when we booked that it could be subject to alteration. So, no Ewood trips for me this season. Real shame.

That's a real shame that.

Knowing the setup at the club these days they probably had no clue that it could be changed.

The QPR home game is now rearranged for Tuesday 28th January, so that probably rules out moving the Wigan game to 25th.

Another reason to watch the cricket.

Can't even do a 'Raya-watch'.

Another trophyless season for all the Clarets. 👍

West Ham 🤣

And for people wondering why Dyche hasn't been poached yet, not appearing to be bothered about pretty much every cup competition they find themselves in can't help his cause.

Have to laugh at Sky Sports’ panel of football’s mightiest brains. Trying to turn relegation candidates West Ham losing are home to Championship leaders West Brom as some kind of unimaginable giant killing.

Patronising barstewards.

Apart from the last 15 mins or so after they went down to 10 men WBA looked the better team. Decent match to watch.

Fingers crossed that they are sulking about Hull , Fulham, Tranmere  and Shrewsbury results tonight and tomorrow

Season over for the Dingles unless it's another relegation struggle. From the stats Norwich battered them and should have won in a canter.

A massive 8,071 on Turf Moor. Empty seats, my lord.

Nah. There was at least 20,000 with another 20,000 outside the ground.

7,200 home fans. Comfortably the lowest gate of the day in the cup.

On the back of two massive wins against top 5 sides pretty much making them safe, you’d think they’d actually turn out in decent numbers for a potential cup run.

A silver lining of this upside down last decade is I’ll never need to listen to anymore bollocks from that lot about crowds.
