One of the most extraordinary cup ties I have ever seen...I was sat behind the mum & dad of the winning goal-scorer - the man with no number...

Great videos Herbie.

I have to admit that for the first 3 seasons of the Prem I kept a scrapbook containing press reports from the LET and others of Rovers astonishing progress.

Ive forgotten a lot of those games and these videos of yours have brought the excitement back to me.

Thanks for your effort in bringing them to us.

I can pretty much remember every game between 1992 and 1996.

Yet if you asked me about most matches this season I’d struggle...

Me too! Then we went down to Ewood expecting to win, now we go hoping to win.

Dirty Yorkshire B*stards lol

I loved the “exchange of views” between Shearer and Dave Bassett?!

Didnt Souness have a similar spat with an Arsenal player at the Emirates? Was it Arteta?

Hughes & Fabregas wasn’t it ? Didn’t Cesc say “I thought you used to play for Barcelona?” Or something like that...Hughes suggested he might bugger off in return 😆

On your second sentence I remember Rovers playing some excellent spoiling football at the Emirates and not letting Arsenal have their own way. Fabregas approached Hughes at the end and said "didn't you used to play for Barcelona" in a disparaging reference to how we played. Hughes went after him and Fabregas later apologised.

Sorry just seen Herbies response.

FA Cup replay and both Flowers & Shearer receive rapturous welcomes from the home crowd. Look out for Michael Jordan netting for Rovers...
