33 goals against (2nd best in the league) suggests otherwise

Maybe he's turned himself into an absolute worldie whilst in London, or (almost certainly) maybe he's playing with a better back 4.

I don't watch much football these days - all I can tell you is that whilst he was turning out for Blackburn Rovers, he always had a calamity in him.

Walton defies belief, he's an absolute joke.

Send him back now and let a young lad have a go, he couldn't be any worse.

When you've got other imposters in the team as well like Gallagher and Bennett you've no chance. The teams are much of a muchness at this level and you need everyone pulling their weight.

Panic over, Tony's pension plan secure for another year.

Shameful.. Hotlby... Johnson.. Gallagher all donkeys. Worst of the lot, Captain Benno!

Harsh on Holtby! He’s obviously got fitness issues, but he had a half decent game. Gallagher and Bennett however are pitiful footballers who, despite a bit of effort, are headless chickens who will never play for a top 6 side. I cannot believe that Tony can’t see it.

Pretty abysmal.

Walton at fault for both goals.

Bennett lack of a left foot neutralised our attacking ability.

Gallagher- oh dear.

Cannot play with 9.5 men out there.

Four headers in front of goal and only Samuel forced a save. Brereton improved again.

Davenport again a nice cameo. Johnson mostly useless.

  • Backroom

An unfortunate reality check. Glad to see the back of Wigan after the dire 0-0 in December where Dack got injured, and now this.

We played some pretty football at times today but had zero end product. Perhaps not surprising considering the starting line-up, which was concerning. If Armstrong is struggling fot fitness or something else I hope it is sorted soon, as we can't rely on Gallagher, Holtby and Brereton to provide us with goals - and for the record the latter two were decent today, but they aren't goalscorers.

Didn't take long for the real Tony Mowbray Rovers to return.

All those fawning over Samuel put away your sympathetic thoughts just because of his injury. Far too much old pals stuff at Ewood under this manager. Time to move him and several others on they aren't up to it and are far too comfortable.

Ad Bradley Johnson to the imposter list, that was a pathetic half an hour.
