Summer Transfer Window

Shows how badly we're managed.

Sitting underneath the table, begging for scraps.

That money should be a boon, if those transfers happen, rather than dictating our transfer policy.

No club or manager in their right minds would base transfer policy upon the possibility of receiving a sell on fee from an ex player sale.

Its such a flawed approach there is no guarantee it will even happen never mind in enough time for us to invest. It should simply be a bonus not money needed to get our business done.

Yet I wouldn't put it past this lot as it might be the only way we get business done.

In a normal world if Raya goes for huge bucks to a PL club this summer just a year after we sold him for a small fee there would be uproar and an investigation into why Brentford get mega money and not us.

Here it will be shrug the shoulders, not Mowbray's fault whilst he and Waggott celebrate a sell on fee.

So Raya's good enough for Arsenal but not good enough for Tony.

Strange one that.........

Should have been sacked for flogging Raya on the cheap and replacing him with Walton alone.

Never mind squandering  12m on BB and Gallagher, or paying our top paid player not to play for us for 2 seasons or paying Smallwood and Hart for 12 months not to play for us then giving them another month or giving Gladwin an extra deal as an act of Charity while he recuperated.

And people blame the owners for the fact we're short of money!

The owners are why we have Mowbray, he is a symptom of the disease. The desperation to blame Mowbray from some people on here, whilst completely ignoring the fact that Venkys are the reason we are operating with a League One standard management team, really doesn't make sense.

"Yeah but they gave him £12m which he spent on two strikers who can't score" etc Yes, corrrect. Mowbray isn't a very good manager. Sadly that's the level we're at now operate at after a decade of Venkys ownership.

To save a bit of money as Mowbray put it at the time and now he’s pleading poverty

A strong Cheif Ex would have put a stop to it ... And what does Suhail the Venkys rep do when things like these are going on

In the end all these characters will hurt BRFC  with these decisions or the lack of them hope they leave a forwarding addresses when they leave the club But somehow they won’t

This Particulare Regime have wasted a lot of money with nothing to show ......

And you make that point to Rich Sharpe who then told you they arent but more a bonus for the club pocket

Won't Suhail be in India with his family at this stage?

Do you think he is in UK?

Well if names get passed to the owners agents to check out and give the ok (and invoice for it) who represents all that ?

Him i'd wager, he's got to be more than just a messenger/spy.

So today's conclusions:

Who's to blame for the so-far a debacle of a transfer window - Waggot, TM or Venkys - the answer being D all of the above.

We're struggling to sell players as well as buy them. At least we show some consistency there.

We may have a tenner to spend if King or Raya leave their respective clubs via sell on fees.

A Rovers transfer window is enough to drive someone to drink...
