We could’ve been going into this very tough fixture with a real incentive - a good chance of a playoff spot. Sadly the debacles against Wigan and Barnsley have left us needing a miracle.

No real expectations, but I’ll be furious if there are any unenforced changes to the starting 11 from midweek. Thank God Brereton is still banned. Hopefully Mowbray doesn’t pick Gallagher’s number out of the tombola drum.

I predict a Walton howler and Bennett to be the first substitute to come on.

in goal hopefully!

I think today we can put this play off malarky to bed huh?  That way players can go on hols for real and Maybe Mowbary trips over a few more youngsters with promise.  I have liked JRC so far another forward thinking young un.  Till Mowbary coaches it out of him at least.

It's not uncommon for TM to keep the side unchanged when the pressure builds and he reverts to a better team with less square pegs in round holes. He did it earlier in the season as well. I'm sure we had an unchanged side for 4 or 5 games around Nov/Dec time.

Wow, the strongest XI available starting for us and mostly in their correct places.

At the least, this should be an entertaining afternoon's football.

Not that we will be bothered about entertaining the cardboard cut-outs if we get our noses in front at any point.
