G Somerset Rover
Downing as a false 9 with nobody up top. Classic Tony.

That version of Rothwell is a menace and may give us a half chance here. Except somehow you just know if he had started tonight he'd have been anonymous and/or awful. the inconsistency of this lot is maddening. Gogger
Is Downing really up top or am I seeing things? Tony must be having a laugh. we have two strikers on the field and both are on the wing, tou cant make this shit show up Edited July 14, 2020 by Gogger
GHR
Looking better, which is something I guess. Shown more in this 5 minutes than we have in the previous 45. Anyway, iFollow has been particularly awful tonight with the visuals. Showing unremarkable replays over and over whilst you can hear the match carrying on on the audio. Missed the Millwall goal and had that corner gone in we'd have missed that too. Not expecting the world from it but bloody hell it's so amateurish at times.

Yes they're worse than the other playoff sides, but the playoffs are a lottery. They're a very limited side. Which says it all about our lot. RTM08
That fact that we splurged potentially up to £12m on 2 strikers only to then decide that we want to play a brand of football that requires we play with none should be reason enough for TM to be handed his P45 at the end of the season. Absolute madness.

Scotland1
Tony Slowbray having his Souness Matteo on the wing tactical nightmare Please just get rid of him he’s doing more harm than good, we’ve woefully underperformed with our squad this season. Give Johnson the two games to make a claim Edited July 14, 2020 by Scotland1

Again, just like under Bowyer. Two unambitious, safety-first managers who have fostered a holiday camp environment.

G Somerset Rover
This 4-2-2-2 with no actual strikers (while losing 1-0 no less) will surely go down as Mowbray’s Matteo moment as somebody above aluded to. Butty
If Cardiff win then tonight’s result is irrelevant. They are doing so at the minute. Doesn’t make this performance any better though..

AAK
What are Rovers these days? There is just no identity imbeded within the team. Its just a bunch of players chucked together, hoping for the best. Heads drop when they concede every game, mentality must be weak.
superniko
Armstrong has to score then. We’d be going ballistic if that was any other Striker. Rothwell has certainly made a difference here
