Quite fancy buying a shirt this year. Hope they aren’t shit again.

Home and away have been crap for years. The sooner we ditch Umbro and their cheap-not-cheap generic stock the better.

Agreed, get us back on Asics or Kappa. Some stinkers but some real gems too

Could this be the new home kit?

Probably. It just looks cheap and nasty.

It’s like someone has knocked off our iconic blue-and-white halves, and then has the cheek to offer it back to the club! And our lot lap it up because it’s cheap - and of course “committed fans”, “proper fans” will buy it anyway.

Bournemouth were wearing their new kit in the last few games of the season.

We need a new manufacturer that better suits our needs.

Waiting until nearly September every year isnt good enough when we've merchandise to sell.

Hummel, Macron or Kappa please.

Bournemouth were only wearing it because their previous sponsorship deal had ended and the sponsor the used for the remaining games was a temporary one. The kits still don't have a release date.

All kit releases are late this year, so it's not just us. 13 teams from the Championship haven't shown any kits off yet.

It’s like this every year.

We moan we have money issues but don’t get STs or shirts on sale until the last minute. People want shirts before they go on holiday not after.

If selling cheap products at top dollar is the only way then it has to be at the right time.

Groundhog Day

*wax nostalgic for previous strips*
*demand the fabled red & black halved away kit*

*someone posts mock-ups 100x better than the real thing*

*complain about late kit launch*

Rinse repeat next year.

Maybe they’re not releasing new kits.....

You'd hope not, kits and other merchandise is probably the least painful way for the club to make money at the moment. Mind you, the way this club has been run for the last decade...

I remember a time when you got a new home shirt design every 2 years. But the sneaky buggers changed the sponsor in between those two years. 02/03 & 03/04 seasons spring to mind when it was the same shirt but the only difference was the AMD and HSA sponsor.

Can't take any promotional GK kits shots without any goalkeeper!

We'll probably re-sign Richie Smallwood so he can pose for it.

I shouldn't give Mowbray ideas...

Interesting aside, Ribero had appealed for anyone who had a Wembley 92 yellow shirt to get in touch with them.

Steven of New York Rovers ( @oaklandrovers on Twitter, used to post here I’m sure years ago) has sent one over to them.

They wanted a sample to match the fabric to potentially produce replicas, apparently they have reached out to the club before to produce them but no response

I would 100% buy one and predict they would sell better than any shirt in years

This is awesome but can’t see the club agreeing to this. Conflict of interest with Umbro

Well the ugly bunch down the road agreed to it but from Riberos Twitter Rovers haven’t been as forthcoming so far

Would imagine if Rovers are to look into that agreement it would be for next season. The Umbro deal is over after this batch of kits is released and they usually finalise new stuff a year in advance (the designs for 2020/21 have been in place since August 2019). May be that we extend with Umbro but the break in contract may allow for the sales of shirts like these with Ribero as a partner.
