I keep reading from several posters that Venkys are paying the bills. Presumably that does not cover the cleansing and maintenance bills.

And Mowbray saw fit to give a month's extra money to players he had no intention of playing.

A decade of decay sums that lot up perfectly.

He should have shoved a paint brush and a tin of paint in their hands and told them to earn their keep for a month.

I’ve spoken to the clubs supporter liaison team who say the grounds are being cleaned and sorted out within the coming days, she thanked us for our concern and appreciate the offer of volunteering.

Just the same as the team and management everybody down there needs a kick up the arse now and again. Nobody there to do though due to the void between Ewood and India and their reliance on the same agent pals to install people in office.

Maybe someone would be so kind as to train Pasha in the art of the knapsack sprayer i doubt he does much else for his money.

It's like looking after any property, including your own home, don't keep up with the maintenance and it starts to look tatty and unkempt.  The daft thing is, it will cost them more to put it right (assuming they're bothered) than it they had maintained the ground properly.

Anyone looking at Ewood would say that there is a club with a management that doesn't care and has no pride.

There's a certain breed of supporter who regard any sort of criticism of their club as blasphemous, no matter how justified it is.

Our friend in question only chooses to defend the indefensible on subjective matters when he thinks he can win a do.

It doesn’t matter what any of us thinks Waggott will blame Covid, lockdown and furlough.

But, once again, a club in need who has a good relationship with fans could easily find volunteers to help rally round to sort stuff like this.

But if a chief exec is on a six figure salary and we have billionaire owners who could easily fix this, if they cared, it leaves a sour taste.

Maybe some of these photos should be tweeted over to India to highlight what a decade of Venkys ownership looks like.

The neglect of Eeood Park isn't really a new issue, John William's used to comment quite frequently ten years or more ago at the Fans Forum that ground maintenance issues had been deliberately overlooked in an attempt to maximise the playing budget.

This seems to be taking it to a whole new level. though.Shocking really when things like the weeds could be so quickly and cheaply sorted out. Great idea to send the  pictures to the owners who Iimagine would be appalled.

Do you think our owners care enough Rev?

There seems to be a repeating theme here..

I don't think they'd be aware of the state of the outside of the ground  just now, no. I see no reason why they'd be happy with it though.

Responsibility for that has to lie with those on the ground so to speak at Ewood. Have they been working from home or the stadium?
