I think Preston fans in general are generally unhappy with no signings and  their best players courting interest from elsewhere with a year left on their deals.

Ultimately we dont yet know if he has end product. It is far too early for either set of fans to be going too over the top, nothing more than a few bright cameos at the moment, glad weve taken him as he looks a raw talent who can hopefully develop but I think that the overall reaction is intensified because of where he came from.

I wouldn’t overthink it, it’s PNE fans.
Loads of them on that forum are obsessed with us and embittered because we had the audacity to win the PL and they’ve bottled it every time they got near. Add to that Blackpool getting promoted at the first attempt and you’ve got some deep rooted bitterness.

Strange bunch.

Speaking of Wycombe the time Simon Garner took Nob End to the cleaners at Wembley whilst playing for them was a thing of beauty.

Since they got back in this division their fans have been like Burnley fans on acid it's hilarious to observe that Rovers chip on their shoulders the size of Ewood. They've punched way above their weight last few years mainly due to their bold manager and Uncle Racehorse but he's no Jack Walker or even Venkys.

The sales will come around soon then they'll combust.

Are the Preston fans even aware of the bollock they've dropped here. Doesn't seem to be much chat on their message board. Bit about missing out on Arma.

Early on in their match thread when he assisted and then scored, they had a brief argument about it. Some cant believe they let him go and others are staunchly trying to convince themselves that it is our lack of depth, that he wouldnt get in their first team still, and still early days whether they have dropped a bollock or not. Think the latter secretly know they are wrong but are hoping with everything that they have that they are proved right.

I also shared a few links in this thread last week.

What contact is actually on currently?

Well we know it’s a professional one as he mentioned he was made up to sign his first pro contract

Got to think it will be peanuts though

He wanted to leave anyway but the fact that we did even offer him a contract is very bad.

There was some talk during lockdown that no funding had been made available to keep any youth teamers on, except for Ethan Walker who'd already signed a pro contract some time ago.

We're also yet to make a single addition to the squad, despite having the worst strike force bar Hull last season.

I like pretty much everything about that post, cheers :)

Thanks to the Quest show bigging Dolan up, the PNE fans are now even more wound up - love it!

Many initially claimed he had no end product - debunked

Many initially claimed he had only done well in friendlies, lets see if he makes their first team - debunked

Now they are clinging on to the 'hes not good enough for our squad anyway' line - Surely debunked already.
