I got married on Friday, luckily just before everything decided to close down! My wife's step dad decided to ask Rovers and Liverpool (wife is a big Liverpool fan) if they'd be able to get some players to sign a congratulations card for us. Amazingly, Rovers entertained the idea and have sent a card with a few signatures (unfortunately the same can't be said for Liverpool). I've worked out a few of the signatures, but I was wondering if anyone would be able to help out them at all?2 points

That's what I think when I hear people telling me the players of today are miles better, fitter etc, than the old timers. Maybe, but who would you rather watch ? 5 minutes of Bryan Douglas was worth a whole 90 minutes of most of what's on display today, Bradley Dack excepted. It's all about goal mouth incidents and excitement. The early sixties team I grew up on would have you dizzy with excitement.2 points

McEvoy, McGrath, Stapleton and Beglin should all be in. Steven Reid and Joe Haverty were both better than Mahon.2 points

Leon bloody Best, he should be in all time worst 11. Mick McGrath was twice the player that either of McAteer or Andrews was. Central midfield should be Rogers and McGrath. Have you never heard of Andy McEvoy ? Up there with Jimmy Greaves and Denis Law in the goal scoring charts back in the day. A real top striker, him and Stapleton would be my front two2 points

This also really annoyed me. Of all colours to choose. Felt sick looking at it1 point

You might be the only rovers fan to ever leave Shearer and Hendry out of that 11. unusual choices ? Are these your favourite 11 for reasons other than ability ?1 point

Thing is both Rovers and Olympic have always played in blue (I know Rovers wore white for a couple of years right at the beginning), so should have been simple enough, why claret?1 point

i had doubts about jack paying 3.3 million for a player who great at southampton but did`nt score that many goals there, changed my mind completely when he demolished the norwich defence in the 7-1 win, mind you i thought souness should have signed berkowitz and not tugay?so don`t take any notice of my scouting ability!!!!!!1 point

If you are bored have a read up about Andy McEvoy. Top top player who was with Rovers for the best part of ten years up to 66-67 I guess from your initial selection he is very much before your time1 point

There are different categories of football fans and the one I would personally be worried about are ones who simply find that they aren't missing it. I fear that new season tickets will be on sale well before another ball is kicked and I feel that some current season ticket holders simply won't bother renewing. Then there is the question of cost as the disposable income of many will disappear. If ever there was a time to review the price of watching football it is now. Either way it's going to be a testing time for football in ten of which the vast majority have never seen before.1 point

It's incredible how durable the human body can be on one hand, whilst extremely fragile on the other. People have survived all kinds of crazy shit, but you hit your head the wrong way and you're a goner. Had a coworker who was a little worse for wear after a night out. She was climbing the stairs at home, only got to the second step but fell backwards. She went into a coma and died not long after. RIP1 point

Shocking - to have a career as good as he did and then when it comes a time to start to move to the next chapter, a simple accident takes it all away. RIP and massive condolences to his family.1 point
