If Waggott just fuxked off it would save quite a few quid. Mind the door on the way out Steve.6 points

Waggott can't make any comments on what went on before he was here. The bloke is clueless. The next six months is going to be a clear indication of their commitment to the club. This has barely got going in India to date and already impacting on their business.4 points

Apologies if already discussed. Imo this season has to be finished to maintain the integrity of the competition. No matter when that may be. Scrap or reduce next season, whatever. Sad, as it would have been hellishly funny to see this season expunged from the record and Liverpool 31 years without a PL title.4 points

Ludicrous. Brad is easily in the top 3 Prem keepers of all time. I'll only accept Schmiechel and Cech above him. I can see how others might have other preferences for their top 3, but to not put Friedel in the entire top 10 is simply grossly inaccurate.3 points

I watched the captain one and Shearer got slapped down for having the nerve to suggest Tim Sherwood over Wes Morgan.3 points

Always the way. Its like when Damien Duff for Sky did his Best XI (and subs) who he played with and didn’t mention a single Rovers player as even a contender for inclusion.3 points

Absolutely. It was set over 100 years ago and they wanted it to look authentic ?.3 points

I'm sure many people have, about various goalkeepers who didn't make the cut. I think the key is not to take these sort of shows too seriously.2 points

Not sure if this has already been shared, but Rovers.co.uk are showing the full match of Rovers 5 Burnley 0 on YouTube tonight at 7pm. Details on rovers.co.uk.2 points

How on earth can we play a part and look after them a little bit? The are (allegedly) billionaires. Maybe he is paving the way for an announcement about furloughing staff.2 points

Waggott with some disgraceful comments today... “I have been in discussions with Tony every day on player welfare as well as the business side, and my view is that the owners have been very good to the club over the last nine years since they took over the ownership of the club and it’s now time for us to play a part and look after them a little bit as we go through a turbulent time. I’m looking across the board how we can pay all the people we can for as long as possible.”2 points

For those who haven't already done this. It's now available online & literally took me 30secs to do. You don't lose the channels, they just don't charge you. Billing automatically resumes once sports resume. Well worth it. Just saved myself £50pcm with a couple of clicks. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/pause-sky-sports2 points

Sorry, but I'm stealing that for Facebook as I have some Liverpool fans I'd like to annoy ?2 points

For anyone that is not aware, Sky are allowing people to "pause" their sports packages with no penalties. It's difficult to get through on the phones but they are hopeful you will be able to pause it online by the weekend. https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2020/03/sky-sports-to-let-customers--pause--their-accounts-amid-coronavi/1 point

Players full pay, club employees given wage reductions, looks like the business model in most cases. Should be the other way around. ?1 point

Mike Ashley is a reptile, lower than a snake’s belly, asking for Government help for his lower employees. What a twat whilst he retires to his semi-detached, in lower council house town.1 point

Load of rubbish. James in there. Longevity and quality are not the same thing. De Gea for all his brilliance was unconvincing at the start and for the last season or so. But hey, play for a big.club and in you get. There was a few keepers, not least Brad, who should.have been in that list.1 point

So if I understand correctly what Gordon Taylor is saying (LT article), any club deferring players wages due to insufficient funds (due to coronovirus) will be given an FFP transfer embargo. The PFA also advising players not to agree to pay cuts or deferrals. Meanwhile if club owners inject cash it also goes against FFP which in our case is a no go. Seems harsh yet the reality is after this crisis is over, we need as many clubs as possible to still exist. Not least Rovers.1 point

Exactly. And he can’t wait to tell us how he can’t comment on what went on before whenever he’s asked anything about their multitude of wrongdoings. Different story when he wants to kiss their arses.1 point

Wholeheartedly agree. What makes it the worst is that the truck driver that he collided with subsequently committed suicide himself.1 point

‘Provided your Don’t Kiss Me’, biography of Brian Clough from the local Forest reporter who spent 20 years in close quarters with him. I just find the fella fascinating and it was a cracking read. ’Living on the volcano’, it follows football managers in their day to day. From Wenger at the top, down to League 2. Real insight to the madness of that profession.1 point

spot on. let`s make a major effort to get our house(the united kingdom) in order as a priority over everything else. it`s not just moaning as i spend quite a bit of time abroad and the youth are nothing like they are here(and they still love their lives and enjoy themselves). it needs sorting and fast before it gets worse. freedom of speech and uninhibited behaviour has gone too far.1 point

Hope he pulls through. Something needs to be down about this surge in n0bish behaviour at football matches up and down the country.1 point
