Manchester United 2 Rovers 3
It was a massive three points for Rovers in this one. You would be forgiven for expecting the Rovers to get hammered here given our form of late, yet Rovers turned the form book on its head and coped with injuries to several first-teamers well, coming away with three vital points following a 3-2 win.
No doubt this wasn't a full strength United, but to be fair Rovers also had ten players missing and fully deserved the win for the effort given by each of the players. Once again the Yak hit two goals, one from a penalty and the second after jinking past Phil Jones before firing through De Gea's legs. It was enough to earn him the BRFCS Man of the Match award with 39% of the vote. In second place came winning-goal scorer Grant Hanley with 30.5% of the vote, and he again looked very assured in defence against the champions.
A special mention I feel should also go out to Adam Henley, who despite his tender age and lack of experience coped very well with Nani and took 9.3% of the vote.
