2011/12 Man Of The Match: Rovers v Chelsea

A tough 1-0 defeat at home to Chelsea, one of the big boys, will perhaps be remembered most for the protesters' plane flying overhead calling for Steve Kean to be removed as manager.

As for the game itself, Rovers didn’t play too badly but just couldn’t find the net. The winner of the BRFCS Man of the Match award for this one was Gael Givet, who gained a massive 46.74% of the vote, with Morten Gamst Pedersen coming in second with 28.26% of the vote.
