2011/12 Man Of The Match: Rovers v Tottenham Hotspur

Another game, another loss. However, it was one of Rovers' best performances of the season, with us bossing the possession (very unusual for us) and having more attempts at goal than our opponents — however, attempts don't win games. Take note, Mr Kean.

Spurs had fewer chances, yet Van der Vaart hit two goals, the second very well taken with real quality. Mauro Formica scored with a good volley, but it was Steven Nzonzi who returned from suspension with a very solid performance and took 28% of the vote to win this week's BRFCS Man of the Match award, followed by Morten Gamst Pedersen with 21%.
