    Summary

    A rangy striker with the athleticism  to run the channels he was brought to England by Leeds after scoring 22 goals in a season with Kalmar. At Elland Road he found it hard to win a place in a team where there was a lot of competition.  Informed that he was surplus  to requirement he opted not to return to Sweden and joined the Rovers, hoping to impress  sufficiently  to prolong his English experience. He was utilised by Mowbray spilt wide on the left and his ability to drift in and score made him useful although he never recovered his scoring touch after being injured in the second half of the season. A return to Sweden brought an upturn in his form and after scoring regularly  he became a transfer target for several overseas clubs.
