    Summary

1_fergus-mckenna-aitken-2.jpg?_cb=156016The son of a Glasgow police constable he was a strongly built, dark haired flyer who arrived at Ewood with the reputation that had prompted the club to pay a large fee for his services. Strictly an orthodox 'run and cross' winger he never lived up to the advance publicity but he later starred in a very good Southport side. After retiring he moved back to Glasgow, working as a tram driver before being promoted to inspector.
