  1. Every player should take off every item of gear with our badge on it, kit, training kit... The lot... Boots aswell... Give it all to the poor fans who showed up and walk off in shame because they sure as shit don't deserve to wear it. W*nkers
  2. If anything it shows the chasm is quality between a sh*te Scandi club and the championship. You could have easily got better from a 2nd keeper from some club in league 2.
  3. To be 3-0 down at half time and make no subs is a feckin disgrace. His subs or lack of have been absolutely awful since he walked through the door. His in game management is beyond poor. He needs to take a good hard look in the mirror the smirking prick.
  4. I hate everything about this set of c*nts. On and off the pitch. Sell the club. F*ck up another project somewhere else. Get rid of every lazy player stealing a living. Start again. Make me sick the lot of them.
  5. Manager can f*ck right off to be honest. Get the best out of what you have. Clown.
  6. Yeah I know but I think that's all hype speak and have just dressed it up a bit. I genuinely think they've got this kid hanging around the first team that's not going to get any game time and have thought to send him to us. Can't imagine Rovers have been that desperate to chuck money at some kid for a loan that didn't do much at COV.
  7. I'm convinced we're paying nothing for Ayari and given our connections with Brighton they asked us to take him as he's no use to them but might be some use to us. He does well here, his value goes up and it's good for us aswell so everyone wins... But I'd be surprised given our finances he's costing us anything.
  8. Comfortably the worst keeper I've ever seen. Not just for Rovers.
  9. Been a while. I'm as pissed off as anyone at the moment but taking a step back... Rovers have to be taking chances on players like O'Riordan whilst they can get them. They certainly won't have deep enough pockets to afford him in a few years. Reminds me of a potential John Stones type. What we do about a forward is a real head scratcher, the exerienced types we want we probably can't afford and also block the pathways for the others we have. Taking a low risk punt on someone like JCH for a few 100k could be a worthwhile gamble but who knows? Good forward are few and far between and cost good money. It's glaring obvious we need experience, I think we have it in the likes of JRC, Hyam, Hedges and Gally but have been very unlucky with those injuries. I think we'd have comfortably been 10 points better off with those options. That said, I'm certainly not making excuses for the recent results. The Huddersfield one is a sackable result that I would certainly have been after Mowbrays head for so it's only fair I say the same of our current manager... Difference is I've actually seen an identity with JDT and hasn't had the luxury of spending 5 mill on forwards either but I totally understand anyone wanting his head. When JRC is fit, alongside Tronstad I think centre midfield would look pretty decent. I've always believed there are certain centre halves capable of playing in that holding midfield role that can offer extra protection and physicality. I think Carter played there for Portsmouth a few times, perhaps JDT see's him or O'Riordan in there as an option. I think Hill could do a decent job there aswell. Although we have little funds, January is certainly not an opportunity to squander. Hopefully we beat Hull and go into January with some optimism. Hope you're all well. Merry. Christmas and happy new year.
  10. Can't keep signing forwards Jim when we already have 2 new ones yet to prove themselves, a lad from the academy scoring goals and Gally (when fit). Sign another one and it blocks the pathway for Leanord, Telalovic and Ennis. At some point you simply have to get a tune out of what you have. Keep gambling on forwards that may or may not score goals is not a wise transfer plan and besides, 7 goals in our last 2 games would suggest scoring goals simply isn't a problem. People are too quick to write off Telalovic. I've learned my lessons on this after writing off Szmodics and JRC. I know some who had written off Tronstadt. Now all 3 would be in everyone's first 11. Our manager is proven at developing players so we should probably hold our tongues in future.
  11. Sondre Tronstadt was quietly brilliant today. A very unassuming yet classy performance. Shifts his balance really well, cuts off key passing lines, neat & tidy... Does exactly the job JDT requires him to do. Looked like a European International player today.
  12. Was always a fan of Pears personally, Wahlstedt is absolute clown shoes.
  13. This is not the total football Swansea of old. We're a much better side in my opinion. There are no gimme's in this league, typically in this league they could take something from us but based on what I've seen of them this season, we should be looking to build on our recent wins with a convincing 3 points. I don't want to us to upset the 11 but If Hyam isn't available, I'd move Hill to CB, move JRC or Brittain to RB with Trav in midfield... Scotty doesn't convince me.
  14. There's a lot more height and physicality with Hill, JRC AND Brittain in there, they're all undroppable players so it's good to see JDT find a solution to that problem. Brittain has exceptional fitness suiting him to an up and down midfield role, he's more than decent at both ends of the pitch. Hopefully this is the platform for Tronstadt to kick on, he had a decent game but if we're looking at how good we need to be at the higher end of the table he still needs to improve. If he can improve a further 10-15% more than what I saw today then we have a real player there. One thing I noticed in our more measured approach is just how simple balls which are sloppy crept into our play, these small things like passes slight behind the man or not enough pace on the pass can really kill opportunities to hurt teams. As nervy as it was, they didn't really create that much with Tanner having the best opportunity. Speaking of which, if he's going to be a bit part player for Cardiff then I'd really like us to have a look at him. Watched his as a sub against Swansea and he was brilliant then aswell l, very talented footballer. I've been saying it for a while but Dolans best performances in recent seasons have been more central, he just simply doesn't have the pace to play out wide but has the quick turning ability to cause problems in the middle of the pitch. 2 winnable games coming up, the relegated sides are already decided IMO... Let's take this league by scruff of the neck finally.
  15. Sorry but it's not a good sign that Telalovic isn't grabbing that ball to take that pen. Supposed to be the main man FFS, act like it at least.
  16. Madness today. I've stuck up for Pears but disaster doesn't cover it today. Needs dropping for that performance and I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him in a Rovers shirt in the league again if Leo gets the nod. I don't know what's happening at the moment because I believe we're better than most teams on paper but it's just sheer chaos with no structure at times. In possession I know what the idea is but out of possession we're just everywhere. He needs to take us back to basics because I think he's perhaps demanding too much of what these players can give him.
  17. Because of the football we play, I fear no-one... I only fear ourselves.
  18. Well... Rovers are certainly not boring or easy to watch. Today had everything really, poor refereeing, goals, good football, bad football, good defending and bad... As much as every fan wants to get promoted it's a bloody good league. Look what a win can do for everyone's spirits, confidence and expectations. Today and many times this season I have seen something from our players to suggest they're good enough to take this league by the scruff of the neck and really give some teams a battering. Obviously the common theme is not taking our chances and today we should of given Boro a proper hiding 4 or 5 nil. When the 2nd went in I really felt that if we pressured them harder, they would of capitulated, I could see the confidence draining out of them in front of my eyes... Their heads had gone, the body language was negative but although it was a poor refereeing decision, we typically gave them chances to allow them back into the game. What should of been a comfortable pasting of a team shot of confidence turned into a typical nail biting hanging on of a game. Regardless, the 3 points is all that matters and we fully deserved it. I thought everyone played well, with the exception of Dolan who I've stuck up for quite a bit but he simply offered nothing at all. I'm a massive fan of Callum Brittain and he looked absolutely superb today. People may laugh but I genuinely believe he's one of ours that could move on to the next level, hopefully with us of course. From what I'm told, his numbers in training are generally the best. It would be an absolute waste to see him drop out the side again and would personally rather see him ahead of Pickering when JRC is back as I think he's performed better than Pickering at left back. Sammie is really turning into our main man and is seemingly stepping up to be the main source of goals that we needed. On Telalovic, I maintain high hopes but he didn't look ready for it contrary to the managers words. Even so, he should have still had an assist on his debut for Sammie and had he had made one driving sprint for a ball that went across goal he could have had an easy tap in aswell. I'm sure JDT can work his magic with him and get him up to speed eventually. We have a good, young, hardworking, talented set of players with plenty of ability. Fine, we haven't spent as much as some sides but there still aren't many with the quality we have either. We're a good side, usually the better side, with lots of reasons to be optimistic, hopefully our manager see's it the same way.
  19. You usually get what you deserve, which is somewhat true given we didn't take our chances. They need to learn these lessons now, Hedges needs to sort his head out in those situations, that is a clear representation of why he isn't a premier league player. As much as the scoreline doesn't show it, there are positives, that's a game they should have won and it's their own fault they didn't. Regroup, get the new lads up to speed and go again fresh.
  20. Stuck up for Pears but that's him done. In you come Leo.
  21. Played well so far, Trav let us down on the ball a few too many times though.
  22. Strong line up today, a lot of technical ability in Wharton, Hedges and Moran. Away from home i'd always take a point. As someone else said, kill the first 20 mins and grow into the game. Hopefully we don't play our way into trouble. 1-1
  23. Buzzing for the boys today, got what they deserved today after not getting it last week. As I said yesterday, leave Brittain at left back, he's fine there and looks better than Pickering to me. Always really rated Ryan Hedges, a very overlooked player, hopefully kicks on and shows us what he's really capable of on a consistent basis. Big mention to Pears, gets a lot of unfair stick in my opinion, always looks decent to me. Leanord doesn't look ready, I'd keep giving him appearances and easing him in but it seems too much to ask to start at the moment. I've stuck up for Dolan for a while but he was absolutely dogsh*t today, he looked lost, offered nothing going forward, offered no protection either. We need more going forward before the window closes.
