Alarming lack of urgency from our lads.
Oh I don't know, we seem pretty sharp at turning attack into getting the ball back in our own box for a lovely game of tikka takka

This fannying about at the back makes for a exciting game

Mine too. Hope they sort it or I’ll have to but QPR sound on.
Is that option still available to switch commentary?
-
watching a premier sports feed don't know who the commentators are but they have definitely done their homework, not as biased as I expected them to be, and decent to listen to

Hope this fannying about at the back is not going to be a feature this season

Swedes more likely, but we'll probably end up buying them from Aldi.
Think JDT and GB should be looking at players born in the Czech Republic, apparently Venkys never refuse to sign one.

Thank you so much! That saved me $74 on what I paid in August last year!
Yes nice surprise that there was a early bird offer this year, and with the current exchange rate , coming in at at roughly $100AU cheaper than last year

I suspect not but I wonder if the club will put a stream online?
Asked A Holt on twitter last week, he forwarded it to the Accy MD? who said no streams of any of their pre-season games.
Suprising as there would be a fair amount of interest considering the new Rovers appointments , and for two clubs who need any bit of extra income thought it may have been something that they both may have thought worthwhile. Maybe Rovers never approached Accy

Anyone got a way to take off the sponsor, any household products other than bleach?
That sponsor is absolutely vile
Yes there are ways but most succesful in my opinion is not a household product, works well taking HTV off cotton but with polyester/ polyester blends it's 50/50 and even when succesfully removed often leaves a footprint.
There are other ways but again better success rate on cotton than poly, which involves heating the htv glue from the inside of the garment
google HTV removal, attempting to do any of the recommendations in any of the videos etc , there is a very high chance you will ruin the shirt

Any news from the club about RoversTV subscriptions for the coming season?
Not heard anything which is surprising as subscriptions ran out on 14th June and expected it to auto renew.. You would think getting 170 quid subscriptions in early would be beneficial.
It does seem we are tied to the ifollow schedule despite not being part of it, as far as I can see no clubs have released ifollow details for 2022/23. Last season think it was 3 weeks before the season started that subcription details were announced

I’ve just seen the three kits.
The home is traditional halves, reversed on the back. Red macron logos. This is hard to explain, but it’s got a weird neckline that is quite deep with a bit of red on it… I’ll check out other macron kits for comparison and see if I can provide better insight.
Away is navy with a royal blue trim. Has an actual collar. Looks like a golfing shirt.
Third is red with a royal blue trim. It’s got Lancashire roses worked into the pattern all over it.
Update:
so the collar on the home kit is like this. The blue and white is revered, so blue collar on the white half and vice versa. The bit in the middle and the back of the collar is red.
Home kit sounds like it is going to be a good one, are the sleeves halved? or one solid blue, one solid white?

Every chance yet
JDT " Now Steve , I need two adult and two children season tickets for my family"
SW " No problem we have a family season ticket, that will be 899 quid, you paying by cash or visa?"
JDT : "no I mean complimentary"
SW" ërmm no staff complimentaries, I can submit a request to Suhail who will then send it to Pune via carrier pigeon for approval, should know in a month or two"
SW : ""Jon, Jon , where are you going ""
SW " Jonnnnnnnnnnn if you are walking away you will have to pay for that training gear I just gave you"

By the same token, we finished 2nd, based on the first half of the season?
3rd, 1 point behind Bournemouth after we had both played 23 games. 18/12/21

First thing that hit me about the chorley shirt is how the manufacturers logo is placed, makes it look like a little mans head with big afro and top half of his body and now I can't unsee it

149 for a six game International ticket is a bit pricey. Assuming cost of a single adult ticket must be significantly more than 25 per game! Also only 3 cat A games allowed. Hannoverover will soon become Washingtonrover so it's not an option for me anyway.
Is anyone else tempted?
Wonder why they have set this to International only, bet a few in the UK would take this up in the current climate , that could lead to them taking up a half season ticket further down the line.

It smacks of Ferguson’s agent and cheerleaders going direct to the organ grinders, or to Pasha, and passing on the Waggott sideshow.
Wait for the late plot twist of Darren Ferguson on Ewood holding up a Rovers scarf

Nothing wrong with 2 seasons at it and review. About standard in the Championship.
Just depends , if whoever is appointed gets the backing to go for it, two years is fine, if it is another "journey" maybe he is not the man.

Still one more candidate to speak to, according to reports. Could be another week or so before the manager is announced. Would have settled for that timescale beforehand (end of May or thereabouts).
I'd be happy with Carvalhal, but as we're interviewing a few candidates, it doesn't mean the club have Carvalhal as their number one target. The contents of the interview will probably put a different spin on things.
If they have any sense they will also be interviewing for the 2024/25 season at the same time considering Caravalhal's managerial history, if he gets the job of course

I'd heard something ages ago, but club discovered it wasn't possible as the land behind the trees is on quite a large slope and is really boggy. Would take an effort to make it work that makes the whole thing not worthwhile apparently.
A couple of pitches on that land would be Ideal preperation for home games until the super dooper new pitch arrives in 2032
