  1. I have heard that all corporate tickets tonight are being accommodated in the BBE Red Rose Suite and JW corporate areas are closed. Presumably Waggott will be hiding away in BBE as far as possible from irate fans in JW.
  2. But the excuse for shutting BBE is that it will look better on TV if JW is full!
  3. Th IP address is currently not available. As you mention, a DNS fault would be a 10 minute job to fix. The servers will be maintained by a third party and even a catastrophic server failure would be fixed easily enough in an hour or so. In my experience there are 2 reasons for a high profile website/server to be unavailable for so long - 1) Hacking 2) Service provider not been paid
  4. I reckon we should all queue up outside the Blackburn end Tomorrow so they will need to deploy stewards and police there after all
  5. Oh look, the perfect way to ignore all the complaints being sent to sw4gg0tt. External emails are not being received!!
  6. Bradford v Boro in Carabao cup all tickets £5. They would get a big crowd even at full price ( they have 15,000 STs ). A club that operates with the fans in mind
  7. They could, of course reduce the ratio of wages to turnover by increasing the turnover. More sponsors, better ticket prices to increase crowds and, therefore, other income on matchdays, availability of replica shirts, use of Ewood facilities on non match days. Or just cut wages, that's much easier.
  8. What about the mid August meeting that was going to solve all the cashflow problems ? That didn't happen
  9. It's a good point about the training ground. I don't know which company documents declared the Neville house purchase as a Poultry related business but I wonder if we could check what the training ground purchase was declared as ?
  10. The club is a mess, the owners don't care, the 'board' is not worthy of the name and do nothing positive. But, hey ho, let's just sit back and enjoy the next decade of decline.
  11. Venky's Overseas Limited was only registered in 2023. Herbie posted earlier about yet another company - Venky's Overseas Private - that was registered and dissolved in 2011. I think this is the one through which the Neville house was purchased
  12. How many companies are there ? no wonder they are getting investigated. It's like the Peoples Front of Judea
  13. I thought that was odd - it is the company the bought the training ground, not the company that owns Rovers.
  14. It may blow over, but it has directly affected the budget over the past month or so. Its the sort of thing that can affect the future of the club. We Don't need it. What's going to crop up next?
  15. I'm a little confused. The article claims that the problem is with Venky's Overseas Ltd dating back to 2011: The ED had initiated an investigation in connection with the illegal remittances made by the company since 2011 by its subsidiary named Venky's Overseas Limited, UK. But VOS Ltd was only created in 2023- based in Jersey. Venky's London limited, which directly owns Rovers, was created in 2010 but didn't post any accounts until 2011.
  16. So what do we do? Rely on Venky's forever? At some point they will leave and the sooner the better so that we can start to rebuild.
  17. Plymouth's journeymen had too much nous for our young team. It's going to happen a lot this season. Having a thin squad with no real options from the bench doesn't help. Lack of experience and lack of goals will see us struggle this year. Having Pears in goal doesn't help either.
  18. Terrible window. 2/10 I think most people who have commented on this thread are saying the same thing. We needed to replace the experience and goals of the departed players. We haven't. There would have been uproar if we didn't sign a striker so we plucked one from the German 4th tier just to placate the masses. We'll see how that turns out. Buckley leaving was for the owner's financial benefit, not the good of the team. We could have done with him today - even just as an option from the bench ( which is looking very thin already ) The whole ethos of this transfer window was to spend as little as possible in order to tread water in the Championship.
  19. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/13452736/filing-history
  20. There you go - shows the importance of proof reading. Rovers should take note
  21. So people who express concerns about Venky's ownership and are worried about the future of the club while they are in charge are just talking bollox and are really moaning about the quality of current players compared to 30 years ago? Unbelievable statement.
  22. Sympomatic of the way the club operates from top to bottom. No care or attention given to anything. After the very public 'paperwork' cock up in January you would think every single peice of information coming out of the club would be scruitinised very carefully but no, nothing has changed.
  23. I seem to remember ( FF minutes again ) that someone pointed out to Waggott that PNE and Bolton sold far more season tickets than we did for the season just ended and look like doing so again. Waggott's response was that Rovers generated more revenue while selling less tickets. That's his justification and all he cares about - hitting his targets, getting his bonus. Fair pricing, cost of living, better atmosphere, future generations of fans ? water off a duck's back to Waggott. And he sets the prices they way he does because the owners let him and don't care in the slightest. I doubt a single Venky could quote our season ticket prices if asked.
