  1. Game of opinions. Agree to disagree. He's starting to perform better overall & winning us the ball, which is all that matters. For clarity, I agree he's lightweight.
  2. May not have happened at the rate we've seen in the last two games, but it was apparent even from his cameo appearances to date that it's a strength of his.
  3. The one thing Buckley does well, even when he's underwhelmed, is knicking the ball back. We really saw that at the forefront last night alongside his obvious technical ability. His decision making was just much, much better tonight. Pleased for him. Hopefully he can kick on in the way that Travis did when he properly started to get starts.
  4. Before his injury I really didn't see much in him, but I've been quite impressed since he's slotted back in. Hopefully he can build on that. Assuming he signs a new contract, it does look positive having him & potentially Pike competing for RB should Nyambe end up leaving.
  5. He's a really good player. I'd love to see him signed up to replace Evans.
  6. The standard of refereeing in the Championship is an absolute disgrace. That's one of the best halves of football I've seen us play this season. A couple of blips from Douglas aside, they've all looked good. Really not sure how Brereton hasn't won a penalty at the start there. And the Swansea penalty is a disgrace. Their player is already going down from no contact when Sam swipes a leg out (which even from a couple of replays, I'm not convinced even touches the player).
  7. Haha it's an ode to better times. They'll come round again. Just not under this management.
  8. I'm excited for a poll on this. This is how far we have fallen 😅
  9. What I really don't like about the injuries narrative is that we've had injuries all season and managed to stay within play off contention until recently. Always felt we were doing well in spite of a couple of key men missing (e.g. Dack, Travis, plus smaller injuries to players that regularly start). Mowbray now isn't getting the best out of the players that were doing well earlier in the season. It's very worrying and even more so that the seemingly social media element of our fan base can't see this. We aren't even playing good football, so this rhetoric about our journey is just frustrating. He's completely lost his way and needs replacing before he drags us down any further.
  10. I thought Trybull was our best player when he came on against Coventry & deserved his start yesterday. Granted he didn't do a lot with his chance but then again that's been a theme of our season. I think he's a slight improvement on Evans, who has flattered to deceive in his time with us. As for some of the names being mentioned as being better than Trybull, I've needed a laugh this morning 👍
  11. I did earlier in the season and just requested a refund from ifollow as soon as I realised. As long as you don't watch the stream, they have no issue with the request. Had the money back within the week.
  12. Chuffed I don't have to pay the tenner and can watch on Sky. Literally no excitement for the game. Sitting down to watch the games out of commitment, rather than enjoyment at the moment.
  13. Don't do it to yourself mate. You'll only be disappointed.
  14. I don't think I ever got the impression we moved Souness on because he was underperforming. Wasn't he poached by Newcastle?
  15. Didn't think I could be anymore annoyed after watching that crap. Just read Mowbray's comments after the game about Nyambe. I can't believe we're in this situation with no end in sight. As others have said, managers doing the same at other clubs wouldn't have a job for long.
  16. I'm not sure I could stomach Wagner after what he did at Huddersfield (rotated out his whole team against a hapless Birmingham, who won to effectively relegate us to L1). I don't care that they were already in the playoffs and that we ultimately weren't good enough to stay up across the whole of the season. Those sort of antics shouldn't occur in professional sport.
  17. The death spiral in full effect. I can't get over how bad our football is. Whenever this statement is uttered, it's usually way too early to say so, but our season really is over.
  18. I'm just getting bored of this now. I had wrote out a fairly lengthy post, but I've just deleted it all bar the first line. We all know what the problems are and there doesn't seem to be any end in sight. Be bold. Let him go. Get someone in that's progressive and will let our team flourish.
  19. I thought he looked really poor for the Leicester goal as well.
  20. Yeah exactly. I quite like the flexibility of being able to stream a game for £10. I know it's not great for getting bums on seats, but I hope they don't do away with it completely when we can get back to the games. Realistically, I don't think having it as an option would deter the hardcore from getting a season ticket or going to the games home and away regularly. I don't drive and live in Liverpool now (lived a lot further away prior to that). Had a season ticket for 2 seasons but the trains were bloody awful & I'd have games I couldn't make due to other commitments. I'd still do my usual 8-10+ games a season (home & away) and stream most of the others. Feel spoiled this season in a way being able to watch all the games.
