100% agree, they have nothing to lose sheff weds, and they simply wont go away, they have a feel of the great escape about them. I fear the worst even after Saturdays heroics. I read something on twitter about what price should Szmodics be worth. I find it imo nonsense he should go for less than 20mill. People arguing his age keeps his tag down to 10-15 mill. I'm sorry but Would Harry Kane be going for 10-15 mill because of his age? not a chance! your buying goals, your buying a player in the form of his life, your buying a player at the complete finished package of his overall game. Whether its premier league or championship, prem clubs could argue hes unproven, fine dont buy him, but hes our best asset. Championship clubs on the other hand will want him to get them promoted, that comes at a price, hes the leagues top scorer, you pay full whack for that in the championship, no matter the age, if hes bought buy a promoting chasing championship team your buying a player at his pinnacle, your buying him chasing the dream of the promisland, you pay top end simple, you dont get him cheap because we are little old blackburn who got their pants pulled down on wharton to palace, or because we are near the bottom of the league, or because hes going to be 29 this year. Give your heads a wobble, stand firm, give us the 20mill minimum because we have one of the best attacking players in this division, and we aint replacing him for any amount of money we will get given. We also need a total rebuild of our front line, so we need the dosh. We simply have to be firm. I will personally be fuming if we sell for less than 20mill. If clubs really want him, they will pay it.

might be a good time to play them with an international break. It can break things up for teams in certain forms. I cant see us winning, but im now in the mindset of I would be shocked if we get stuffed, by anyone. Eustace has definitely made us more defensive and very boring on the eye, but that comes hand in hand with being hard to beat. Just needs to find a solution to evening up the balance up the other end. Injuries and lack of actual player quality dont help. Hopefully some more depth to select from come the ipswich game and onwards. It very much feels like anything from any game at the moment is a positive. I was secretly buzzing with 0-0 at boro, felt like a win, expected nothing, which I think everyone now feels. If we go down, which is looking more likely each week. I would like the club to give the job to Damian Johnson, and just leave him be with it. Been here long enough, knows the players from top to bottom. Id happily let him learn his trade at first team level with us, if we have no money to use. Im going to be negative here, on the basis of what i saw Tuesday. I think we get pumped. 3 zip. Hope im wrong! We seem to lack balance. I feel Eustace style of play is to be tight away from home, which i get, but I also feel its gets it into the final 3rd and play from there, which again, is fine, but nobody can get it to stick in that final 3rd, it all seems to weak or 100mph. Plus the majority of passes and balls into that final 3rd seemed dreadful Tuesday. Works both ways. Absolutely nothing clicked. Even when we we tried to sit in we still seemed open. fingers crossed for a positive result anyway.
