  1. I think it says it all, when we have people on here, tearing up after this. I did too both after the goal and final whistle.

It means so much to so many people and thank goodness for that today, I will sleep soundly later.

Sammy the hero again, but so proud of the team again today, after what we have gone through recently.

Enjoy everyone and let's hope that's us safe.

  2. Very happy with that so far. We cannot fault the commitment in the first half. Great to see Pears catching a couple of corners and taking the pressure off.

Watching from abroad on Rovers TV. Harry Leonard doing some summary and very good too.

A big half coming up and a point or even 3 puts some belief back.

First ten minutes will be crucial.

Fair play but how do you explain the Sunderland game? A fiver nil flash in the pan, it's just mental

It's hard to explain, but it is plain for all the see that Rovers have been a total shambles in most games under Eustace.

We will definitely lose today by more than one and I am fairly sure next week V Sheffield Wednesday, we are already set up to fail in that one, thanks to Waggott.

We are set up today for a 0-0 and that is likely to unravel in the first half in my opinion.

So who decides what a positive result is?

Coventry at home soon. What is a 'positive result' out of that one? Or does it depend what happens tomorrow?

Rovers 16, Coventry 0. We sort out negative goal difference out before the final game at Leicester, where we thrash them 0-10. I wish everyone would stop being negative, as we are fantastic. John Eustace says we are, so we must be.

Those in favour where does it stop?

I mean we often have 20,000 empty seats at Ewood thanks to Venkys and Waggott, so presumably they'd be happy if we handed away fans all the BBE and Riverside if possible, pocketed loads of money for no benefit to the club and condensed all the home fans into the JW stand.

    Happy days.

Change our Name to Man United Seconds, play in red, change the name of the ground to mini old Trafford and fill it every week. Loan all of their up and coming youngsters.

Lets face it we have already run events for other clubs at Ewood for other clubs this season, so that's probably next.

    WTF

Ah, the Ben Marshall 'Undr The Cosh' interview - only listened to it this week!

The level of unprofessionalism during Coyle's era; it's absolutely no shock we went down under him.

I also finally listened to King Rat Bradley Orr's one this week also.
    What a fucking cock end.
'If only the fans knew what was going on behind the scenes...'

We knew more than you did, you big-nosed Scouse prick.
Completely whitewashed all of the Kean stuff and made him out to look like some kind of innocent party 🤮

I know the club Doctor who worked at Bolton when Coyle was there.

He told me some very interesting stories about his that confirmed what a complete pillock he was, which made me even more rattled when we appointed him and called him the stand out candidate.

I hope our current manager improves a bit over the next 4 games, as he is beginning to make me, every bit as concerned, especially with his description of some of the players and performances.

Can see this being 0-0 until half time and everyone saying "oh we're doing alright here" to lose 3-0 in the second half.

Can't see anyone else around us winning this weekend so that's one plus.

Hope you are right. I have a feeling that Sheff Weds will win and maybe Brum too.

It is squeaky bum time if that happens.

They'll probably beat Stoke at home whilst we getting beat at Leeds so yes they will be well up for it in that case and we are just clinging to hope that the team that has let us down all season can actually show up.

We both lose or draw this weekend then it's nerves all around.

Whatever happens it's a stupid decision to let them pack out the end and hand more backing than necessary to their team and i can't think of another club in the land would do something so stupid.

That's  the big issue. If they do win on Saturday and we lose, they bring some real momentum into the game. they won their last away game 0-2 and assuming they do win, it would then be two wins and a draw from their last 3.

As we know, Rovers have won one under this manager, so why would we give them an even bigger boost by giving them an allocation of 7,000?

Self inflicted this, if it does go the way I fear.

I’m as pissed off as anyone with the way things are going but we are absolutely not at this point yet.

it is entirely in our own hands. Win our two home games and we will stay up. Possibly just one of them (Sheff Wed)

You are quite correct, it is still in our own hands, however one win under the new manager and a demoralising defeat on Wednesday, really will take some recovering from.

This is not helped by us selling 7,000 tickets to SWFC and making it a cup final for them and helping to get them up for it. I cannot for the life of me, so Rovers getting as up for it as they will and neither will our fans.

This weekends fixtures look challenging from our point of view too and if they go as I expect with another heft defeat for us and a Sheff Weds win, then we are really up against it a week on Sunday and I fear the worst.

Outrageous that they effectively signed a player in front of us, by using money that should have gone to other clubs and was withheld. How is that punishment for such obvious cheating?

We would have made the playoffs with that signing for sure.

Not to mention getting to the FA cup semi final at the expense of other clubs. Two points does not act as a deterrent, surely.

Just go there and kick fuck out of Leeds don’t pull out a tackle win lose or draw 100% on the pitch leave everything out there.

    RTID!!

Wouldn’t it be nice to even think that would happen. It’s damage limitation the aim of the game in this one and miracles are not about to happen.

We’re on too much of a knife edge to start bickering internally but when the season is over I’d like to hear some straight talking. Given we haven’t much of that in 14 years I’ll probably be disapointed.

This is precisely why I can't stomach anymore.

Nothing has changed and nothing will under these owners.

Same with Allardyce and Lambert. Never really liked from the off by a large portion of the fanbase and many glad to see the back of them, whereas St Tony, whose first act was taking us down to the third division, should have been given the job for life and will be yearned after for years to come.

Looks like Eustace falling into the same bracket. A dismal run of results so far with no end in sight and yet I can see it playing out now - blame JDT for everything, nothing to do with Venkys, Waggott, Eustace, lets all pull together and rebuild in the summer.

I never thought, I would say this, but if we go down this season, I will no be even watching for the results anymore, I have had a gut full and can't take any more.

Once the infection has been cleared, I will be back, but I have hot breaking point with it.

    In many ways, aye.

But I do also think, those with an axe to grind with JDT deliberately overlook just how badly JE has done on the whole tbf.

It's actually disgusting and a complete insult to the fans that he is getting away with it.

Not only that, he is rubbing our noses in it too, but using adjectives such as fantastic. There is very little fantastic at the club, only fantasists.

  15. He would probably switch the game to Hillsborough if it was within the league rules and he made a few more quid that way.

This defeat and confirmation of relegation is on him and I say that with confidence a week and a half before the game.

A complete tool in every sense of the word.

We said the same about Carter. We were being pulled all over by their mobility and Eustace brought on a 37 year old leaving a young, athletic centre half on the bench.

    Poor decision from Eustace.

That tells me loud and clear that it was not due to footballing ability, more to do with finance, one way or another.

Hard to say exactly what, but if the manger sees that particular decision as the right one, then no wonder he has only had one win so far.

According to useless the squad is fantastic and he has more than what he needs to get the job done.

    No excuses.

That’s exactly why I haven’t been able to listen to a single interview so far.

If the squad is fantastic and he is the man for the job, why have we won 1 in 13. The squad is anything but fantastic, he is a nodding dog and he must think the fans are idiots. If he had anything about him, he would look in the mirror and accept this is beyond him and step down.

His appointment was yet another pathetic mistake by the club and the no excuses narrative, current being peddled is as insulting as it gets.

Our season rests on him winning his first home game, next time we play at Ewood and I for one have no faith in that happening.

Your thoughts on the manager? Will we get relegate?

If we don’t it isn’t because he is any good. I considered him to be a fraud, but after come impressive away win, thought perhaps he deserves a bit of slack. He is out of his depth and will not make a success of this gig.
