Wow that didn't take long. You hardly ever said a word against Tomasson (and defended him to the hilt) and are now using the fact we have come from behind to draw twice at home as a stick to beat him with. And for the record we came from behind to draw against Luton last season.
Not to mention Millwall away, when we came from behind and won.

I believe we will stay up. I know i'm in the minority. I'm not sure why there is absolute certainty we are already relegated. Might as well give up now reading a lot of the posts on here.
You don't get draws at this level if you are unorganised, are not trying, have no belief, zero structure and useless players. It's only a week ago we were all proud of the team against Newcastle.
I am basing what I think on what I saw on Tuesday and yesterday.
We were all over the place at the back yesterday. It wasn’t as though some slick passing or great through balls were opening us up, a simple punt over the top and their striker was through.
That happened at least 3 times and let’s face it, we were very lucky not to get hammered.

Huddersfield have just gone one up against West Brom. Right now they level on points with us (there are four teams now on 41 points).
I wonder if their manager announced before the game, that is wasn’t a must win, to take the pressure off?

We will definitely get beat and assuming Boro can finish better than Plymouth can, it will be resounding.
Given the return of 4 points from 6 games and no wins so far, this will rank as one of the worst starts ever for a Rovers boss.
There will still be no action taken and the odd poster still believing we will stay up.
PS Huddersfield just went one up.

Don't know unless I was in the room.
Maybe @K-Hod or @only2garners can asked this question at the next fans forum whether anyone has been disciplined or sack for this incident.
I think we will get another 10 points from the remaining games and stay up
Thanks.
I think we will get 4 or less and go down. Hope like hell you are correct though.

I have my own thoughts and opinions on the situation.
I don't think the squad is that awful if everyone is fit and actually think it is top half squad at least if not more but we seen players like Ayari proved in some games that he is actually good technical player who will actually put made tackles. he is part of that. We all know that we lack experience at the start of the season at centre back area, pace in the team and up front where we lack that proven striker. In January we bought in McFadzean who gives us experience at the back but we are expecting him to play too much now. Also in January, we sign a striker who would have given us goals in the team in Duncan McGuire but someone at the club forget to send the paperwork through on time. He has scored goals since he has returned to Orlando and I doubt we will sign him in the summer cos I think they will be bigger clubs after him now. Rovers have lost out there big time on a quality player but also a future transfer fee
Fair enough with what you want to say I guess, but do you actually really believe we forgot to send the paper work for McGuire? Any idea who it might have been that forgot and any idea why no one seems to have been disciplined for it?
Also, given what you have said with the squad and the manager, in your opinion how many wins do you think he will get from the remaining games?
I think he will get no more than one and will not be that surprised to see none.

I have just checked. Scott Dann scored 5 own goals in 138 premier league games, but not all for us.

I’m angry just reading about what he has said in here. I haven’t had the stomach to actually listen to any yet. That is itself tells a story I guess.

And West Brom away. I was right behind the goal and saw exactly what happened there.
And Swansea away
And both Man City games
There were two other games which were very dodgy.
Plus Scott Danns 5 own goals
Plus that dodgy right back we bought.
And the fights in the dressing room, arguments on the pitch with players accusing each other of not trying....
Are you able to post what you saw at West Brom Philip?

Funny you should mention trifles in a post containing Fleck.

This is typically what is bet on the legal and illegal markets. Truly staggering.

When Spurs beat us 2-0 in April 2012 I don't think I've ever seen a match where a team was less obvious about not wanting to win. We played that match like a training game. Even the pundits were gobsmacked at how lifeless our performance was. I'm not suggesting it was fixed, but for whatever reason our team had no desire whatsoever to get anything out of that game, despite the fact we needed every possible point to survive.
A game that was live on TV in the UK and beyond and had millions bet on it.
Shots on it off target BRFC 0 Spurs 19.
I remember the post match interview from King Rat and the look on the faces of the pundits on n the studio, which was one of pure bafflement.

No wins so far and I see none out of the next 4.By then it will be too late.
We panicked, chose quickly and chose a dud.

So if I have this right, since Eusless arrived, Sam Gallagher has been playing Centre Forward and has not had a single shot.
Is it 7 games, no attempts ?
What sort of Duck Egg is he ?

Warnock just left/quit/got fired.
Why don't we sack this useless coach and get Warnock in to keep us up for the last couple of months
We could do worse, but we are unlikely to sack him. He deserves it mind as the football is dire.

I said at half time, I was dreading the second half and that’s how it turned out.
It was pretty obvious that the 3 at the back was not working, they had more one on ones than I can count. That proved the undoing, as the exact same move, a flick over the top, put their striker through and caused the red card.
With no wins in 7 attempts now and a nailed on defeat next week, it is feeling like the point of no return to me.
We are hardly going to sack the manager so quickly, but I’m afraid we picked a dud.

It’s a simple punt over the top that keeps catching us out. Eustace was supposed to have made us tighter but that’s as bad as I’ve seen us at the back this season. How we have not conceded, I will never know.
Hard to believe we are 1-0 up and I’m dreading the second half.

Those who were there will never forget the 5-2 beating of Plymouth, being 0-2 down at halftime after missing a penalty and scoring 5 goals in the second half to win it. Don Martin was brilliant that night. I’m pretty sure it was on my birthday 15/02/75. That was a must win game to get promoted from div 3. To say I was depressed at halftime and ecstatic at full time is putting it mildly!! It was one of the most exciting games I have ever seen at Ewood. I stood near the back of the Riverside in the middle. Great days. 😊
Memory playing tricks on you. It was a Saturday afternoon match and 1-2 at half time. We had missed a first half pen too.

I am not dismissing match fixing and betting.
The cash flows are so enormous and tax free that a decently funded fixer can make handsome returns.
The season we were relegated, the Hong Kong betting market alone was bigger than the Premier League and Champions League combined turnovers on its own.
Lower leagues are particularly susceptible. The Malaysian and Maltese leagues are globally renowned to be fixed- yet another Malta Premier League player was jailed this week... The 2010/11 Nationwide League South stank to high heaven.
On the dark web in 2011/12, I found a list of that week's fixed games across Europe. There were 112 games but you had to subscribe to find out what the fix was in each case. I remember Wigan's Premier League fixture was on the list along with other English games going down to the 6th level.
When I did a similar search two years later, English games were remarkably absent. There had clearly been a recognition of the problem and things done in such a way to lessen the problem without ruining the reputation.
Serie A never recovered from the first big Juventus scandal.
I know people are reluctant to believe it, but it is possible for so much to have been made that pumping in millions per season, may still mean a tidy profit has been made.
People are asking why the owners are carrying on regardless when they seem to be getting nothing out of it. As we know a statement has been made this very week, to say they have no plans to sell and are here for the long haul.
Until is is proved otherwise my view will always be, that they are hiding something.

Little and often.
Someone posted something on here a while back about money laundering in sports and football in particular.
Venkys ticked a lot of boxes.
Now they're under investigation for financial corruption.
I'll let you form your own conclusions.
The terminology used in the Indian press article was illegal payments and no allegedly in there either.
Illegal payments made by a company, that have had property seized and are now unable to send money overseas, without both an authority from the court and a bond, tells me and I am sure most others, that these people are simply not trusted.
So, we have the football authorities, the anti corruption bodies and probably the owners accountants, who are surely aware of this, sitting back and doing nothing.
When the proverbial hits they fan, I hope they all stand up and take notice.

A chorus of Ole, as we pass it around at the back V Plymouth at 0-0 in a he 89th minute.
The manager has already stated it isn’t a must win, so we will be happy with a draw or a defeat then.
