  1. The difference between JDT’s style of football and demeanor and enthusiasm compared to Mowbray are poles apart. As was being eluded to here, had he been backed, not only was he likely to get us up, he would have done it in style. That ship has sailed and will not be back in the harbor any time soon.
  2. Prepare for the doomsday scenario, as we are highly likely in my opinion, to be relying on that to fund running costs. We have already been lied to once about the tax changes, thinly disguised as illegal payments made by the owners, which in turn led to court permission to release funds. This was then a sure thing come February according to Waggott and again in March, which as we all now know, is now a sue thing in August, but I see it as being far from certain. The club celebrated the ladies team, getting a top six place last night and presented various prizes for the achievements of both the men and ladies sides. No mention of the abject failure, just a quick one liner from the CEO to say, how wonderful the owners are, despite what some people think. Next summers failed marquee transfer excuse is being thought up in the corridors in Pune I suspect, as they never fail to sign a cheque and it isn't their fault that people are pressing the wrong buttons in a dark dingy office in down town Blackburn.
  3. It's been tried, with no joy so far. He looked entrenched to me last night, but just stood back observing and did not get involved. As we already know, he is running it and Waggott is just a stooge.
  4. I agree and with some of the back slapping last night, you would have thought we had won the league. I noticed Pasha did a good job of blending into the background too.
  5. I quite often come on here to get a crumb of comfort, reading what other fans have to say and knowing that we go though things as a collective, rather than wallowing in some of the crazy decisions being made at the club. The two posts on the previous page made by Vyeo and JH Rover are both absolutely brilliant and sum up an awful lot of what I also feel. Despite things looking very grim right now and our immediate future being perilous, having people on here sharing the pain and caring so much about the club, does still give me hope. As individual fans, we are pretty powerless, but I do firmly believe that eventually the incompetents in place (including the current manager) especially the owners and current CEO will be gone and we will all still be around to see the club ride again.
  6. I am feeling the same after 54 years supporting the club. I don't know if I will fee differently after the summer break, but right now, the antics at the club have got me questioning if I want to be part of this any more.
  7. I think that's why the bookmakers have us at 10/1. It shows how far we have fallen though, hoping we can pick up a point at home to Coventry in our final home game and take it to 8 with no home wins for the new manager. It is bound to be at the forefront of his thoughts then, so 5 at the back again this week at home.
  8. I have now watched it (couldn't bring myself to yesterday) and oh my goodness. Apparently there are people suggesting there is something suspicious about it on social media. I am not too sure myself, although he didn't seem to attempt to save it, after the error.
  9. I didn't see the game yesterday, as I was on a flight and can't bring myself to watch the highlights. I think there is a strong possibility that Coventry will have nothing to play for and just hope we can get the first home win under Eustace. It is on a knife edge for me and I really do fear the worst now.
  10. As II said a couple of pages back, lose all 3 and we deserve to go down. There is a very serious chance of that happening now, as the easiest of those games has now been played and of course we managed to lose that in spectacular fashion.
  11. Birmingham can still catch if they lose on Saturday and we lose. It’s going down to the last round of matches if we lose V Coventry.
  12. It’s better than mine, as I was suggesting a bag of cement in goal.
  13. We were 25/1 to go down this morning. We are still 9/1 which seems crazy to me, given how bad we are. Im clinging on to the hope that the bookies don’t normally get it wrong.
  14. If I knew I had been a total dickhead coward, I would probably cry if you did.
  15. Lose all 3 from here and we deserve to go down. Surely we won’t do that.
  16. Last time we went down we had 51 points, so that's incorrect. I do believe we will be safe with a draw though and even more so if both Huddersfield and Brum, fail to win tomorrow.
  17. It will be a nervy Saturday watching the other results come in and then over to us on Sunday
  18. I have hated the must not lose games V Millwall and Plymouth, but after Saturday, I am fine with that, so long as it doesn't backfire and we lose.
  19. From what I’ve read on here, it was Waggott’s appointment, but I stand to be corrected.
  20. I am pretty sure he will, if he keeps us up, which now looks a lot more likely. From my point of view, knowing it was a Waggott decision to appoint him and then hearing nothing but positives being spun, even when there were none or few to be seen, created a serious sense of doubt. Yesterday certainly helped to endear him and if we not get over the line, I am happy to accept that I was wrong about him, as up until yesterday, I had very serious reservations.
  21. I think it says it all, when we have people on here, tearing up after this. I did too both after the goal and final whistle. It means so much to so many people and thank goodness for that today, I will sleep soundly later. Sammy the hero again, but so proud of the team again today, after what we have gone through recently. Enjoy everyone and let's hope that's us safe.
