I agree I don't the negativity. Rovers are still in control of whether we get a playoff place or not.

Statistically what you say is correct, but we've won 1 game in our last  7, can barely score and are playing sides who are hitting form at the right time whilst we have declined dramatically. Current form would suggest we miss out.

I remember Peter Dobing at Stoke. He was very much a Dack style striker that dropped back into midfield after injury. He still had enough football intelligence to be able to pull the strings from a less advanced position.

Completely different game now, athletic requirements are far, far greater than back in those days, even CBs have six packs now

we only appointed JDT and GB about 2 months ago.

time to judge and comment is after the transfer window ends IMO

When you have an injury plagued 31 year old and a 17 year old kid as your only choices at CB, plus no cover for your full backs and being 5 games into a season is criminally negligent. If this doesn't change dramatically we are in for a really tough season.

The club is not failing JDT currently, but the championship transfer market is slow currently if you look at the whole transfer market. We have budget and we can't just over pay for players. 12 days to go and we need around 4 signings. Van Der Berg deal is waiting for Liverpool defensive crisis to get better before they release him. If you want quality signings sometimes patience is needed and I rather we waiting then just sign players who we don't want really or rushing signings for the sake of it

Look at our bench today. We have Ayala and a 17 year old playing with no defenders on the bench, wake up and smell the fekking coffee

  5. A warm welcome JDT and Remy, whilst I appreciate that a threadbare squad and a somewhat ridiculous hierarchy won't make life easy I am optimistic and for the first time in a while a tadge excited about the prospects going forward.

I realise that it will take some time to effect your style and ideas and that new players may take time to bed in, but I am pleased to see some energy and enthusiasm coupled with your previous experiences. COYB

personally i also cant be arsed with the 'ole at the wheel' banter i used to berate my United fan mates with regularly, they were extremely good times when he was at United for obvious reasons... i just cant see him managing well with such a low budget and being taken seriously which is what our group of young needs. We also shouldnt be given for any ex united player btw, ie. carrick, rooney etc... they have their salford city toy fc or whatever they're called, club for that.

Most of what you say is spot on. Ole at Cardiff was dire and that would be a better comparison to us than Man Utd, Rooney on the other hand has been superb at Derby despite the almighty clusterfuck he had to work through.
