  1. He wouldn't have made a difference tonight. Would only have gotten into a dog fight with their lot.
  2. Plymouth and Sheff W. at home are massive games.
  3. We need an outlet when playing this system. Negative pace in this team. With the amount of injuries we have, it's deeply concerning what we've witnessed for the past few league games. Still no wins for Eustace. He must've been the cheapest and quickest option.
  4. Kidd, Kean You could argue they had a negative impact though.
  5. 29k at Portman Road tonight. Some energy in that side.
  6. We've been shit for a while mate. Not sure you've noticed. Difference is we have more players at the back defending. Who do I blame all the injuries on?
  7. Who are we going to beat if we can't beat this shit show?
  8. You never take a short corner in injury time
  9. Keep going. Needed a wake-up call here. Again, poor ref.
  10. No adjustment here Eustace. FFS Running down blind alleys. Painful to watch.
  11. And that's saying something. I'd put Ayari on here, even if it's out wide. So many forced passes. Keep it going and get Buckley more on the ball but stop with the early cross-field balls; go at them.
  12. Poor half that. Wasted a good 45 mins. Get Dolan off, not a team player.
  13. Offloading Wharton and Travis in the midst of a relegation battle is borderline criminal. Surely heads will roll if we go down.
  14. I agree. Newcastle was a game where we had a lot less pressure though. We're set up now to make fewer personal mistakes and take a lot less risks. Considering that, it's quite a feat to be able to do what Moran did in the first 20 minutes of the game at Swansea. I can't remember which game it was, but he made bad mistake earlier in the season as well and shook it off well - but also no apologies or regret shown so would let him start on the bench.
  15. Trademark Rovers would be to offer Fleck a new 2-year deal now because they feel bad for him getting injured while playing in a Rovers shirt - and not gettingt he opportunity to show the fans how good he is.
  16. We need to try and keep our composure and avoid getting dragged into their realm. It's on our turf so they're the ones that should be intimidated. Start on the front-foot, keep possession in areas where it's 'safe'. Be positive and play the ball forward, and avoid getting countered. Work like dogs. Pears Hyam - McFadzean - Wharton Brittain - Tronstad (alt. Ayari) - Buckley - Pickering Dolan - Szmodics - Gallagher
  17. Jury's still out. Made the right substitutions on Saturday but we don't have many strings to play on at the moment. Surprised that he chose Buckley and Moran and not Ayari for the latter, as he had a real positive game versus Newcastle. Moran has made some errors earlier in the season so half guessing he was due a start or we would have to pay Brighton. We struggle to keep a hold of the ball, and although there's hard work now we look lost when going forward. A lot of players look nervy and afraid to make mistakes so it's hoofball and a lot of adventurous passes instead of waiting for the right time to cross/pass. Against Newcastle we had little to lose so that's the difference from playing in the league. Just hope Eustace can instill some confidence in the group as it's not just about defending. Needs to get more out of Szmodics.
  18. Hope Tronstad is back for this one. If not I would start Ayari alongside Buckley. Garrett struggles too much positionally.
