  1. I prefer not to focus on our inadequacies. It's much easier to lash out and criticise others. Let me have my emotional crutch and stop with the reality please.
  2. Leicester going to lose to all our relegation rivals, then hammer us final game to save their promotion. It's infuriating.
  3. Can't wait till we bring Chrisene and Moran off the bench when desperate for a goal. The lack of backup firepower is depressing. Hopefully the 1st team are on point tonight and little reinforcements needed.
  4. Fair enough. I seem to get the ones who think they would be competing for top 4 within a few years. Must be the company I keep. With Prem money, and their set up and support, they would get there. But it would take a hell of a long time.
  5. Boy do we! If you're alluding to the OF teams thinking they could waltz into the Prem and compete then I agree. Would take them the best part of a decade to do imo.
  6. Anyone but City for me on the League. It's so dull watching them win it year after year. No matter how good they are to watch. I know I'm a minority on that. Most people I know are just desperate not to see a Klopp farewell title. And the thought of Arteta doing a victory dance....well, I get it. I just like change though.
  7. Not really a jibe at you or anyone, just a general observation. 'We' all do it sometimes, whether it's some of the women's football, or National League . Get all pious about the quality and skill on show. When it should be mainly about excitement and entertainment. It's pretty funny considering the 4hrs of shite we religiously view on an average week. This last week probably a rare exception.
  8. Jeez, lot of negativity for the OF derby on here. Cracking game that. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Listened to 1st half and radio, watched 2nd. Who cares how crap the standard is as long as it's entertaining. I'll be surprised if Man Utd Liverpool is even half as fun as that. High chance it'll be 0-0. Hope I'm very wrong.
  9. This time last week I expected us to lose our next 2 games. That would see us tonight on the edge of a cliff, out the bottom 3 on GD, in awful form, and looking nailed on for relegation. As it is, one single win from here puts us 7 clear with better goal difference. That would basically mean teams would need better than 2 wins and a draw from the last 5 games. Some ask that for clubs in a scrap. I'm a hell of a lot happier and more confident than this time last Sat. Where I was still fuming about the ref the day before.
  10. And then some! Wow, this is quite the performance. 👏👏
  11. Good, cos I feel like we need 3 goals to get a win. 2 goals smells suspiciously of a heart wrenching draw.
  12. Don't miss out the assistants. I've got a seething rage for those clowns today. Wtf happened to benefit going to attackers for offsides too. They were desperate to ping us for being an inch off all day, and mostly we weren't. Timed perfectly some of the runs.
  13. Chrisene looked onside for first one, but I think their defender maybe booted it into the net because he saw the flag anyway.
  14. A celebrity Soccer Aid GK would have kept that out. Patrick Keilty or McGuiness. Guaranteed. That's how weak the shot was.
  15. I'm sorry you broke the resolution, you've been doing so well. 😉
  16. Ask and you shall receive. Can all England flag chat be done in the News Thread Attempt 394 in WDWY please.
  17. Can you click on the blue numbers and read any of the documents WR?
  18. Listed for Court 07 tomorrow according to this: https://mercury.lawyer/viewcase/65af70297c906f81a241b508
  19. I know there's bigger problems on the table, but this still sticks out to me: "An agent who has dealt with Blackburn regularly over the past decade says that, while the McGuire case was clearly extreme, any negotiation with the Lancashire club is approached with the acknowledgement that an agreement may ultimately be vetoed once it has been passed on to India." If I imagine a World where we escape relegation, win the Court case to ensure future funding from India, get the Wharton/Raya money for investment, and then go into a vital summer transfer window to rebuild. We're then in a cutthroat and ever competitive transfer market, with a wallet considerably less than most, and a stench like that wafting around us. It's almost an impossible task. Just grim. And that's the optimistic version. Reality is probably lost Court case, all transfer funds swallowed up.
