  1. Quite the opposite. His contract is expiring and although he has purple patches, has huge periods of being useless. Easily replaceable and the fact we were gonna get 2.5m or so for him, lamentable decision not to sell. The fact his replacement fell through doesn't change that.
  2. Absolute fraud this wanker. Defensive, boring draw specialist. That gets you relegated. Another cheap knock-off venky job. And given a bloody 2 a half year deal so we can't get rid, cos it'll cost these cheapskates too much Pathetic
  3. Im struggling to remember a player who goes through such extreme runs of form (either good or bad) than Dolan. There are months he looks unplayable and a vital cog in the team with assists, goals and workrate. Then there are other months where calling him a national league player would be generous! All players go through good and bad form or course, I just find his particularly extreme!
  4. Seems the Stoke fans are as unimpressed with life as we are.
  5. This Ennis to Stoke deal seems odd. Anyone got any more details. LET says permanent deal. Any fee?
  6. Get these C U Next TuesdayS out of our club now. Another almighty shambles.
  7. Agree, he's been relatively poor so far, but he's a free so all the risk goes out. Worst come to worst you could probably flog him for a nominal fee (ala Nuttall) and everyone moves on with limited financial damage.
  8. I cringe every time this thread come back to the top of the board..
  9. Big game to win that one. Either us or Wrexham at home to Newcastle will inevitably be on tv. That plus prize money for progressing, sponsorship, radio fees, hospitality etc, a potential 25k plus crowd at Ewood would mean beating Wrexham would have been worth 500-750k. Swag will be happy..
  10. I feel like every team has a certain number of injury time goals assigned to them by the football Gods in a season. Unfortunately it often happens to be that ours are scored when we're already winning the game...
  11. All the more frustrating we didn't pick up any points. They are a poor side and it is incredibly frustrating that swansea and pne and Ewood yielded no points.
  12. I find myself cheering on shite clubs like Luton and Bournemouth.. Such is life, lets widen that gap!!
  13. I've no idea what you're on about, it's 9.30am where I am. Anyways, this is a thread about England football not royalist egg chasing slathering soo..
  14. You mean that embarrassing royalist GB dirge. You can keep it. 'Pathetic anthem' goes well with a boring, passion less toff sport.
  15. Well I suppose it is a Nice coach isn't it...?
  16. That's interesting as I thought he'd been at fault for a couple of goals already this year..
  17. Fantastic win, let's go on a run now! Does anybody know if Markanday coming off was tactical or injury? Appeared heavily involved in the first 2 goals down his side.
  18. It might sound mad after Ipswich but remove Pears from goal, everything clicks and I think we're away. Imperative jrc plays rb with freedom to move into midfield to make up the numbers. Siggy is class and has the potential to do a Tella or Benson. Telavoic will start scoring and we are going up!
  19. Sorry I'm not taking any advice from Wayne Kerrs who flog working class football fans as much as they are able to. £32 is disgraceful and more expensive than any prem away day.
  20. I'd far rather that DM got game time at the moment than Dolan. Very unlucky hitting the post tonight, should get more game time imo.
  21. Not sure where else to put this, but any news on the Sunday game where a few were supposed to get a run out (ie Siggy)?
  22. I started the thread about this time last season. He has developed into a fantastic player, scoring goals, creating, just generally being an annoying pr!ck for the opposition. I take back everything I said-clearly I know nothing. What is even more positive was that he seemed to have developed a habit of starting seasons slowly before finishing strongly. He's started off this year terrifically!
  23. Gosh we're a touchy bunch. Who cares what opposition fans call us! Besides, with their geographic location and history in the lower leagues they'd probs be far more familiar with Bristol Rovers and their first natural thought when hearing 'Rovers' is towards them.. GA75, I live in Nz now and I'm a big adoptive Welly Phoenix fan (as well as the Rovers of course) Ben Waine was a terrific performer for us, how is he doing for you. It's a big step up..
