  1. I was so looking forward to this match unfortunately it was spoilt in more ways than one, firstly I didn't arrive until late due to setting off late (family commitments)but when I did there some issues with fans behind me regarding seat numbers and they didn't half make a issue out of if.Secondly approx 4 rows behind me some clown decided to throw is beer over us and then his food and thought it was funny ,wouldn't mind but It stained a £300 jacket that pissed me off were I confronted him and he just put his arms out wide ,anyway a couple of guys behind me advised me it wasn't worth which it wasn't however not long later me and another chap went flying over the next row as it appears the same chap had started some trouble with someone else and that issue as caused me problems today with my already damaged knee as I have been in pain all day I could have took 30 years ago but at 60 it gets harder .I did find out his first name was Gary but I couldn't get any more info ,never seen him before and like me when you go to all the away games you get to know a few faces ..

  2. Just got the very same reply ...

    Hello,

Thank you for your email, we acknowledge your frustrations in respect of the postponement of the Hull City v Blackburn Rovers fixture.

We sympathise with any supporters that had their matchday plans disrupted, and recognise that festive travelling is challenging at the best of times. Postponements for any reason are usually difficult decisions, and therefore Clubs are required to meet specific protocol when declaring any fixture cannot be fulfilled. In relation to any matches postponed for COVID reasons, principally Clubs are expected to do everything they can to fulfil a fixture, and if not they are required to explain the circumstances involved, in line with EFL regulations.

As you will be aware Hull City informed the EFL that it would be unable to fulfil the fixture due to a number of positive COVID-19 cases in their squad, and the EFL will now review the circumstances surrounding the postponement. Of course, Clubs have been working in line with the required protocols all season, and most recently in respect of the Omicron variant, have been navigating positive cases across a range of circumstances. It is for each respective Club to inform the League if they cannot fulfil a fixture, and individual Club circumstances will be different in regard to COVID fixture suspensions, therefore consideration of all those factors will be reviewed by the League.

However Clubs have recently been advised that pre-matchday testing can assist in alleviating uncertainty and lessening any potential impact on any supporters of the Clubs involved, and in addition the EFL will continue to assist affected Clubs throughout this challenging period to help them mitigate against the risk of infection amongst players and staff, while ensuring their obligations to the EFL regulations are maintained.

Finally, for any supporters impacted by the postponement we recommend contacting Blackburn Rovers to understand any ticketing arrangements in light of the re-arranged fixture in due course.

Thank you for contacting the EFL

    Regards

Can I recommend that you take a few minutes to complain to the EFL and ask for an explanation. Under their Supporters Charter you are perfectly entitled to do so.

Just done that ,feel a lot better for doing so..Just like to add it's not the first time i have parked up at a ground to be told the game is off, It  happened at Gillingham in L1 but that was snow and ice issue that i could accept what got me yesterday was the timing as i watching all the updates etc and then decided to set off once i knew the official coaches had set off..

Also reference to the "older gentlemen" who "lived through the glory years".

This as really annoyed me ,i am 59 years old and i played for the club i support as  Blackburn school boy when Jim Smith was here  40 years of ups and downs and to be honest i am lost for words for what i think of Mowbary at this moment in time, he needs to be very careful as the worm will turn if he carries on with his shite ...

Tony Mowbrays blue and white army came from the Blackburn end a few times.

Started on the far right of the BE and from my seat in the Block 2 top end it was obvious it was not going any further down, once it started ,i know the usual singers in my area and i can tell you now were normally they would tag along it didn't happen today or Swansea..

West Brom had a set piece or corner. He left nobody up and the likes of Clarkson were back defending. It also allowed them to flood the penalty area and no out ball for us.

I also noticed this ,but it did happen on one occasion when Dolan came on and i am sure it was one of the players who told him to go up and low and behold he took two West Brom players him ..
