  1. I spoke to her outside Flanagans just before the Sofia away game, but I don't think she still has her season ticket. Then again, i'm sure she will get in somehow.
  2. Are there any away pubs near Parkhead that Rovers fans can go in
  3. Couple of rows in front to the right yes. I go to away matches with him and a few other lads. Currently most upset with me, as I pointed out that he might have some divided loyalties, he's blue, but it might confuse Mr Lard.
  4. I know at least one Blackburn / Celtic fan who will be in our end. Goes every Rovers game home and away, so should be interesting to see what reaction he gets from Keith Lard and the rest of the jobsworths.
  5. Fernhurst is the official "away" pub, though i'm sure that you will try a few others in town as well. A lot of the pubs near the ground are home only, and you'll have to show home tickets to get in.
  6. Captain - All ticket sales should be booked against your name on the database, so you should just be able to put your stubs in, along with the filled in voucher P's, the SAE and of course the cheque.
  7. Souness has said that, of that there is no doubt. BUT he did say that all previous comments go out of the window, and that he really wants to win this one. The clubs profile is raised already from this tie, winning it will raise it even further.
  8. If you dont live near the ground, then try using the phone. Normally works for me for every match. It states, as it does for every match that supporters just need to give their customer number. If you've been to sofia, put in the postal application in on saturday before the match as per Lee's message.
  9. From what Lee has said, they have done something for season ticket holders who went to sofia, which i'd say is pretty fair considering. (OZ - I'd say over 500 went, and 400 would be season ticket holders at a guess).
  10. Actually, doesnt this database have at least 30000 Rovers fans on it after the cardiff game. A simple, if your names not down you arent coming in could have been applied, but on balance, I do think Rovers have got the home game right. Why not let the 400 hardy souls queue for their tickets after the Newcastle game then, wont take long to process. UNLESS we have to fill in a ridiculous form as last time (is this a UEFA regulation ??). The queue could take hours if thats the case.
  11. Of course they will be, they quite simply have to be in order to get their tickets. They will swap shifts or take time off, just so that they can have a chance of a ticket for the game. How many people in that queue will buy celtic tickets, but not bother with tickets for the southampton game that go on sale at exactly the same time. Bloody loads, and theres the problem, Rovers have done absolutely nothing.
  12. erm, when have Rovers taken 3000 away fans to a game recently?? The simple fact of the matter, yes FACT, is that Celtic only offered Rovers that figure, they'd have loved to have given us less, but they were duty bound by the UEFA rules to give us 5% and that is what we have got. The club would have loved to have got a larger allocation, but Celtic, as is their right, didn't want to give it. As for the home fixture, the club would like nothing more than to give Celtic the minimum 5% (1500) for this game, but lets face it, we do not sell out our home games. thanks Lee Ok, we might not sell out the tickets, but chances are people will be disappointed. I accept that there is very little Rovers could to about the allocation at celtic BUT Rovers have taken absolutely ZERO steps to take into account Season ticket holders who travel to away games, but have also given a chance to those who went to sofia who don't have season tickets. Non S-T holders can still buy top tenner tickets etc during the season, whilst we've paid full price. This charter that Rovers seem to use when convienient is supposed to say that season ticket holders always have priority.
  13. Slightly wrong there, Season ticket holders who went to Sofia do NOT get priority over other season ticket holders. Those who went to sofia who don't have season tickets have exactly the same chance of getting a ticket as those who have season tickets and went. Season ticket holders MUST ALWAYS have priority over non season ticket holders (as we can't get top tenner tickets etc), but the club could have at least had the decency to split some of that allocation to those who did go to sofia. Splittin' hairs there, SteB. non season ticket holders will have the opportunity to get tickets, while season ticket holders could miss out. That's not the point though. IT STINKS! Dont forget club staff etc will take a sizeable cut of the allocation in freebies etc. There will probably be a maximum of 2500 available. Personally i'm annoyed that Season Ticket holders who go to every away game including sofia have been shafted. This much lauded database they go on about can easily be used to show that a regular 500 or so fans go to every match. Whats Tom Finns email ?

  15. We've given them 8000 because we wont sell much more than 22000 tickets to Rovers fans anyway. Previous similar big evening kick off games live on TV - Liverpool, and ManU failed to sell out fully, and every fan who wanted tickets got them. The sooner Rovers fans convince the board that these decisions need to be reversed because theirs home demand, then better. Till then, I never want another Man City situation again, which is what would happen if we gave Celtic 3000 tickets.
  16. Rovers have today confirmed that they have taken an allocation of 3000 tickets for the UEFA Cup clash away at Parkhead. Tickets go on sale on monday to Season Ticket Holders, and to non season ticket holders who purchased a CSKA Sofia away tickets. Tickets are priced at £24 with some restricted view tickets at £20. The game will kick off at 8:05 and will be live on television, although the TV rights have yet to be officially announced
