But our supporters don't deserve it. Which is why the immediate priority is to ensure we don't go down. -

Do you really think that Waggott will have been taking that decision ? -

Our results this season so far without him have actually been much better than with him. -

As far as I am aware managers who choose to walk then suing for compensation was something from 15 years or so ago with Curbishley and O'Neill. When Pulis tried it on 5 to 10 years ago he lost. I suspect the wording of clauses in managers' contracts were changed after Curbishley and O'Neill to make sure they would have no case.

Obviously he can make that walk next week if he chooses, although I would wonder why he had waited until then rather than going for his walk today. Of course he, or any other employee, who makes that decision, needs to understand that they will no longer be drawing their salary - although any who are on fixed term contracts also need to understand that if they want another job before the expiry of that term then their new employer will probably need to pay up the balance of that contract. I doubt if he, or anyone else based at Ewood Park, had to consent to the sale of Adam Wharton - that decision was taken in Pune. Sorry to sound so negative - in many ways I like JDT and I don't blame him for the general air of depression around the club at the moment . But then I don't blame Broughton either who has also had to deal with deteriorating finances and moving goal posts.

So you're demanding that others take action but won't be doing so yourself ? -

Why would we not exercise it if it's in our interest to do so ? Say he comes in and scores 10 goals in our remaining 18 league games surely we exercise it if only to sell him on ? -

How are you in a position to regard him as "bang average" ? -

Your point about the owners' behaviour is spot on - and is why so much of the criticism aimed at those working at Ewood Park is unfair. -

Especially if you start your second XI - a mistake that I don't think we will make. -

I don't think it's a bad thing to have more fans in the stadium. But this idea that Preston provide some kind of template as to how to achieve a significant increase in revenues and performance on the field is a fantasy . -

"Immeasurable" to the extent that they rose from 13th the previous season to 12th last season. -

Many posters keep saying the manager is going to "walk". Why spend the little money we have now when there will be somebody else in charge ? -
He scored 7 goals from 40 appearances in the 2020-21 season. That season Sam Gallagher, who according to you is the worst footballer in the history of the game, scored 8 from 39.
