Share all your reservations but would a head of football operations actually spend time coaching,

Whilst not the same level Perryman at Exeter used to coach the team everyday. Training takes a couple of hours max and your office is walking distance from the pitch. It's hardly catastrophic to a working day. No it is not normal but I have seen it before, Perryman was a good coach but the suttle difference was the manager was generally younger with Exeter City.

Venkys have ensured that their reign has been far too cringeworthy for existential reasons but I have one form a few years back.

I think it was during Rovers first Sky Monday night game. My memory is hazy but it was an evening game, and it was probably Sky too due to the sheer embarrassment of it all.

They brought out a cheerleading crew at half time, along with some two-bit singer nobody had heard of. The poor cheerleaders weren't very good. The girl's song was bad too. She could sing but the song was crap.

Anyway, in true football form Ewood en masse started booing and drowned the poor girl out, then the Blackburn End started with the all too predictable "get your tits out for the lads" over and over.

Crigneworthy. Who thought that it was a good idea wanted sacking.

Cheerleaders, what about the dude one?

    Me too.

I fear he wont though with Mowbrays chopping and changing on a weekly basis.

Thing with Dack is though, he knows he he is playing every week along with Bennett & Downing regardless of form so he can probably do what he likes.

Travis has a much better chance of maximising his potential, than Dack though. Imagine if Dack was doing extra training and getting seriously fit? Wouldn't be with us for long.

  4. I would like to see Brereton/Gallagher play as a striker with both Dack and Holtby in behind. Two players who can thread a ball and are creative in thought may help our goal scoring issues.

We have to somehow make one of them a player.

I don't think being played out wide helps either at all. They will also most likely be 'training wide' as well, so switching between the two different roles cannot be easy. They are very different roles.

He thought that his strategy would work and Gallagher would score more goals. Just like he thought spending a lot of money on Ben Brereton was a good idea the year before.

He's clearly a rubbish judge of strikers, to date. We have to hope one of them comes good.

Brereton had a good rep as a youngster, but being honest I don't think either have the movement off the ball to truly excel.

Pants down springs to mind lol.

I think the plan with Chapman was probably to build him up as much as possible in the U 23's first then ease him in mid season or something.

However then you look at Samuel and as predicted on here the min he's fit he's back in the squad and getting chucked on again.  He obviously gets a tick in the favs column.

If I was Chapman I'd be knocking on TMs door and asking why Samuel gets a chance over me. Chapman had some very good performances for the U23s and not even made the bench. Samuel has had one good game and straight in he goes. It doesn't seem fair as you have said and TM signed him.

What's the point in having a squad if we don't try them and/or rotate them.

If I was Chapman I'd be asking to leave ASAP.
