I had a suspicion he could be played as cover at left wing back, and Edun moved to defensive midfield as cover for Trav. Hedges looks pretty robust, think he's bought for his versatility.

Last season he showed plenty, and the season before. Both at fullback. He even did a decent job for us at left back. His versatility will be handy for us.

JRC should be an excellent wing back. You speak about jumping the gun with Zeefuik, but right off the rusty JRC after one game, when the problem was we had no defensive midfielder.

I think with us scoring the second most goals and now having the best defence 2nd place is there for the taking. Yes, the lottery of the playoffs would be scary. I had £300 on us at 11/1 for promotion at the start of the season, so I'd take 2nd. 🙂

Bournemouth have better players than us indeed, it's their poor manager that is the problem. Would be a massive risk for Joe to leave. Better to give promotion a shot and keep all the players.
