  1. I was at Hearts last week where you need the covid passport to get in. There was a queue but it literally took an extra 5 minutes to get in as everyone showed their pass to the stewards before going through the turnstile. Wasn’t a big deal at all, and that was with a much bigger crowd than Rovers would usually get for a home game.
  2. Jack Ross is quite unpopular with Hibees and I don’t think it would take much pushing to get rid of him. Presume this is an attempt to fleece the club but they don’t have much cash so hopefully it will fail. if anyone has an old “ Kean Out” banner they could send me I’ll get myself down to their U21 games and display it.
  3. Whatever your views on Celtic and Rangers it is clear that they are huge clubs. When people say they would struggle to get into the EPL it makes me laugh. Clearly they would at the moment because they earn about 1% of what English clubs earn from TV. Even most Championship clubs earn far more than they do unless they get into the Champions League proper. If they were on a level playing field they would be amongst the top 5 or 6 clubs in the UK in terms of income and following and there's no reason to think they wouldn't be successful. Each club have a massive support both at home and overseas and in this respect they dwarf City, Chelsea, Spurs or any other of the EPL teams about from maybe 3 or 4. Not going to happen though I don't think.
  4. Ha, I remember the Palace game. It was Droy that got the winner and when he scored he stood and roared. It was another petering out promotion challenge.
  5. Last season he was shit or injured. suddenly over the summer he's become Luka Modric. looks and plays like him. Long may it continue.
  6. What does Derby mean to me? Simon Garner going nap and that atmosphere at Ewood for the play off semi in 92. 2nd leg wasn’t bad either but too tense to enjoy.
  7. 486 pages for 1 transfer. Must be some kind of record.
  8. McKenna is a good player by the way. Doubt he's for sale though and presumably would need a fee if he was.
  9. The frustrating thing for me is that the club claim to have a scouting network and yet everytime we go in for a player it turns out that Mowbray knows him from a previous club. What do these scouts do as they certainly don't produce any new players. Personally I'm all in favour of not spending big if we can't afford it but if you have the right scouting in place that doesn't stop you from getting good players in who can make a difference. plenty of others have done it in recent years. We seem, to be unable to make any moves in the market and this is presumably cos we're only identifying players who other clubs are after as well .
  10. Soo we need 2 goalies and a centre half to even function next season. We should go for someone experienced and a younger back up and then a defender who can defend. Basic stuff but Big Tone will no doubt bring in a couple of strikers who can play wide before thinking about the defence.
  11. Mmm, He is though, he’s also a shit manager. There’s no way that anyone could manage in the PL @nd then not get offered another chance anywhere. It’s a small world football and rumours spread quickly.
  12. Total crook, no reputable club would touch him with a barge pole. Hence the obscure places he’s worked despite the amount of media people bigging him up.
  13. Wonder where Ryan Fraser will go. Stay in the Prem I suppose but a great signing for someone.
  14. The Fall - Before the Moon Falls (RIP Kay Carroll)
  15. It’s on YouTube. You might not enjoy it as much as I do but honestly the quality of our 5 goals is fantastic. See what you think and let us know.
  16. Hope you’ve seen the 1989 game at Ewood. Finest collection of goals I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately all in your net though.
  17. Never saw Newton play for us but did go in his shop a few times. Not a big Kenna fan.
  18. Funny how we’ve been stronger at left back than right back. I would have a Rathbone, Wright, Warnock as solid back up for Le Saux but struggled to pick a right back. I’ve probably forgotten a few though to be fair.
