  1. Or maybe he would just love to lead England to the pinnacle of football,to make them the world champions, but he is just planning for what might happen whether that does or does not happen. Our lowlife press have simply done their usual trick, exposing somebodies private thoughts, big deal if svens making plans for the future,England fans are thinking no further than GERMANY 2006. Come on England.
  2. Eddie-you are for ID cards because you find them useful, that's fair enough, but I don't want one,you said that they are useless when fighting terrorism,I'd say they the same about illegal immigrants,so for what reason should I be forced to carry one? There must be another reason than just the fact that they are useful, they are not being forced on us to make our lives easier when we go to a bank.
  3. That's a fair enough comment Eddie but the fact that they are quite useful is no argument for them being compulsory as you stated in your last post. And I very much doubt that's the reason behind them.
  4. The gutter press at it's sh1tty worst. Tossers. Maybe he is looking at future options, big deal, being the England manager is hardly a job for life is it. We all look after number one from time to time,Sven's guilty of nothing more than this, and the reporter hasn't even got the balls to show his face. Entrapment, nothing else.
  5. Pretty sure we'll hear something in the next fifteen minutes.
  6. What on earth was someone doing outside Mcdees with a cricket bat in the first place? That's got to be a pretty much nailed on pre meditated attack.
  7. In order of preference I presume that Ste?
  8. I agree with you there. It was the "hardcore racism" bit that got me,just seemed a bit sensationalist. Doesn't matter, crossed wires and all that.
  9. "Mr Mourinho, did you just call me a bully boy?"
  10. Do some people realise how stupid they sound on this thread? Sometimes things just don't go to plan. I want to be that bloke that won £15m on the lottery. I want beer to be cheaper. I want my house to treble in value. I want dogshit to clear itself up from the backyard. None of it's going to happen though because thats just life,a game of football got called off because of severe weather conditions. Thats no disrespect to the people that travelled a long way to watch Rovers last night, that must have been a pain but I just think theres a lot of the usual general whining on here. I was talking to some mackems in the brown cow and they just laughed it off and stayed for a few pints. At the the end of the day life could be a lot worse than a bloody football game getting called off. So chill out you sad bar stewards.
  11. It's time to move on I think, not that big a deal really.
  12. Me too Abbey, the pub landlords seemed in a good mood as well for some reason.

    George Best R.I.P.

Well said. Or maybe they're all reformed alcoholics with new livers. Anyway on a lighter note, some of the famous comments by and about the man himself- http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/4467360.stm RIP George.
  14. If Barry Ferguson ever reads this board he'll be pissin himself laughing. Yes congratulations Barry, after all this time you're still at the top of page one!
  15. Not true IMO. How do you know who is on them and who isn't? Although if you were talking about E's then I would agree, some of the younger lot round town look complete morons, many people I know do coke on a night out and look fine. I'd say idiots turn into bigger idiots when under the influence of drugs. A bit like alcohol really.
  16. I've put the same amount on Rovers 2-1. Watch this space.
  17. How does the fact that I find it amusing mean I have something against scots? It's football mate,it's just a game,I had a good laugh today when you got beat off...........eeeerrrrrrrrmmmm.......eeeeerrrrrmmmm,sorry can't remember bela something. I bet you laughed at the N/Ireland v England game eh? BTW my mothers side of the family comes from Aberdeen. Now chill out.
  18. Your in trouble now Oscar this thread was heading south for the first time since it started, the mods were just starting to relax, not sure if I should post this really...... Ahh sod it ^^UP AGAIN^^
  19. [quote=Seggie,Aug 29 2005, 21 The Only Uniform Rovers fans should be wearing is Errrrrm why? I haven't worn colours at football since I was a kid, saves going home to get changed at night, can't say I've got a blameless past, had a few rucks in the eighties,if you went with a few mates back then it just happened, acted like a complete arse on occasion, sure I'm not the only one on ere with some tales to tell. If people want to go to the game with a replica shirt on fair play,I and lot of other people like my lacoste/P&S etc doesn't make me any more a potential idiot than some jesters hat wearing loon tanked up on stella. Didn't go villa myself, ,sounds like Wez and his mates maybe stepped over the line a bit, young lads and all that, they'll look back in a few years and cringe followed by embaressed laughter, but at least they stick their necks out and try to get the crowd going, even if it is a losing battle, considering some people that walk our streets today, labelling them "scum" is way over the top. If you wanna get pisd up and have a laugh lads then there's nothing wrong with that, just don't go too far,the courts throw banning orders round like confetti these days, and due to all seater stadia it unfortunately spoils it for the people who want to sit down and eat their pies. One good thing to come out of this is this thread, made me like f**k.
  20. Worked for me,bloke in the turban gets stuck in don't he Just click the edit button on your post and remove it mate.
