  1. We really are struggling anyone thinking anything else is deluded

The players Lambert has brought in are atrocious

never thought I'd say it but we are worse than under Bowyer at least we had a goalscorer whose record was 4 times better than the dross 3 strikers whom Lambert has signed

Writing off new players as dross, based on very little.

Watt was courted by other clubs and has ability - if we can ensure his attitude remains in check it sounds like we have a good one

  2. looks like the slumdogs dont give a @#/? about relegation....selling rhodes pah

    VENKYSCUM OUT

How do you know this wasn't Lambert's decision? And it certainly SHOULD be up to him.

They've knocked bids back before so doubt they suddenly don't care, maybe they're finally letting managers make the final call?

  3. As I posted in another thread, I am torn between wanting him to fail (as a big 'I told you so') to wanting him never again to earn the wage and attention that a job in England brings.

The rewriting of history is just awful. I long for the day Rovers are back in the Premier League and we can finally consign the Kean era to the history books, albeit as a bitter, horrible chapter.

  4. I'm Sam (19 years old), an avid Rovers fan who lives in Clayton Le Moors normally, but at the moment is generally at Cardiff Uni studying English.

Had a season ticket for 14 years, although find it harder to make every home game at the moment due to money/time getting there. Love nothing more than a good away day, and usually find the money to make about 10 every season.

Best memories supporting Rovers are the wins v Burnley, the atmosphere at OT for the 2007 FA Cup semi and various other cup runs/away days (Blackpool was another classic). My big regret is being unable to make the 2002 final v Spurs; had to contend with dancing around my house :brfc:

  5. he shouted losers at the top of his voice. if it had been the other way around (a hull fan and one of our fans shouted it) they would of been rolling down the stairs

sambo where abouts was you sat? noticed a few banners around me in the DE tonight (was on the back row on the right hand said when facing the pitch)

Same corner as you, just around 2 rows above the bouquet left in John's seat.

Just below that control room, second row from the top.

I was on my own for this one, bit of a mop head :P

Mine was on the back of an England towel saying RIP John Taylor

  6. while i understand the reason behind people voicing their anger towards the tosser hull fan, they should of kept it in untill after the minute's silence.

Was just one or two snapping back, but I agree.

I had my banner on the back of an England towel in the Darwen End if anyone saw.

  7. Really? Im sure Hull fans would have been disgusted aswell - not least cos it would have given them a bad name. Hope the bloke in question got kicked out the ground. Its about respect FFS.

Not sure, but there seemed to be some anger from the Hull fans. I wager he got a clip round the ear from someone, as he was on his own being a moron. One Hull fan shouted back at him saying something like Shut the fff up

  8. It was a Hull fan, and angry fans of either team responded with the odd comment (not disrespectfully, they were genuinely incensed).

Think there was a slight ruckus in the upper tier after, seemed to be words said. Hope he got lamped.

  9. Seeing his picture in the paper I made a startling discovery - I actually spent time with John before the game. In the concourse we were all singing and dancing to the various Rovers songs, as he high fived me and my friend. A real livewire, and seemed to have a genuine enthusiasm for Rovers. Can't get it out of my head at all, God may he rest in peace.
