  1. Think this is one of the biggest Rovers myth's that fans (especially fans that probably dont get to go to Ewood much) seem to fall for that folk were against Brereton or wanted him to fail, or booed him at his every touch etc. Sure he got a few groans when mis placing a pass or missing a chance, but no more than any other player gets. Throughout his time here I can only recall a handful of boo's directed towards him when he was substituted from a 500ish following at Brum in the FA Cup season before last. I was near the front and heard them, a couple of mates were up at the back and didn't hear anything. Was probably about 10 "lads". The relief and emotion from the whole stadium was probably the best moment of that season when he scored against Bolton. There does seem to be a small portion of our fanbase that point the finger at anything that goes wrong towards the fans though which I just find very strange.
  2. Unthinkable 12 months ago, and I'm still not convinced he's that good but BBD could really be on the verge of becoming a huge cult hero for the club in the next 12 months or so. Wouldn't surprise me though if someone took a punt on him this summer though especially if he scores a few more in the CA.
  3. Always remember the bloke on the fans forum who told Waggot that they should make the prices higher and market it as "buy before 12pm on match day to get £3 off" So I reckon they have done that, surely they can't be sticking an extra £3 on those prices if someone decides to go on the day.
  4. With only a year left on his contract. Could be in more demand than AA.
  5. Bolton will have bigger gates than us next season and are a club back on the up. I would happily go through what they have and come out better for it if it got rid of these ridiculous owners and the conmen they employ.
  6. My Riverside ticket has gone up by £80 from when I last bought one in 2019. I would say that's a substantial rise.
  7. The very thought of a move from Blackpool to Blackburn Rovers being "sideways" should be absolutely laughable. Unfortunately, under Mowbray and Waggott it's probably a backwards step never mind sideways
  8. You would think he would remember who gave him his Rovers debut 😂 It was Harford not Hodgson, still it was a decent listen/watch. A shame he never came back to Ewood I remember him being linked when he went to Stoke but doesn't appear it was close according to him.
  9. Not that anyone at Ewood probably realises but Brereton Diaz's contract is up next summer. Probably needs signing up soon to protect the "investment".
  10. Rich Sharpe has stated in his latest article that the club plan to announce ST plans this week apparently.
  11. Bradford have already confirmed they won't be allowing Rovers fans in. Guessing that all friendlies wont be allowing away fans in?
  12. Bradley Orr 😂 Christ we might aswell appoint ke*n to replace Mowbray while we're at it.
  13. All true and fair I would say. 11 Years later with these idiots though, continually making the same mistakes. I just can't blame the trust for that in 2021, venkys have had more than enough time to learn about what it takes to run a football club properly.
  14. Don't get me wrong they are nice, especially love the two away ones. The home ones annoy me that the blue and white isn't correct though, minor gripe I know.
  15. But again, even if that's the case, how would they know he isn't good enough unless they take him over and closely watch him in training for two weeks beforehand? Or should they be using "data" to see if he is good enough rather than seeing him up close with there own eyes?
  16. Why is it? Surely the point was to take him over there to integrate with the group and have a good close look at him for a couple of weeks or so? Plenty of international managers take squads of 22/23 to games and don't use some of them. The whole experience for Ben will have been beneficial despite not getting any minutes IMO.
  17. Looks like the Mowbray philosophy of "must give everyone minutes" has rubbed off onto our fans. Knew it would happen eventually. Both Brereton and the Chile management I'm sure would have found the whole thing beneficial to learn more about each other. Plus, it certainly beats spending time in Stoke-On-Trent if that was original plan.
  18. Would you book a holiday in the same month that you intend to go on the said holiday?
  19. Are all the other clubs wrong for selling ST's then? Plus as things stand, we can have 25% capacity which will be more than enough at the moment. Crazy for a club that pleads poverty all the time that we can't seem to get the easiest source of revenue sorted, as despite what you read on here i still think there will be a few thousand who will commit straight away.
  20. The latest belter i saw from some whopper on Facebook today was - "the club cant possibly release any information until we know if June 21st goes ahead, then they will know what they have to work with". Meanwhile Sunderland have sold well over 20k already.
  21. Just a stock answer that was to make it look like something is happening.
  22. Ties in perfectly for when Waggott wants to have better fan engagement. Excellent news.
