  1. I think we will have a better idea as we go into the international break after the following games... Today - Hudds v WBA Tuesday- Brum vs Middlesbrough Saturday - Middlesbrough vs Rovers, Stoke vs Norwich, Rotherham vs Huddersfield, Plymouth vs Preston, Sunderland vs QPR. We simply have to win at Boro, as the fixtures coming back after the break don't look very good at all. I still think we'll scrape a few more draws and one more win out of the last 9, and think some of the sides below us won't do that.
  2. Just have to hope some of the dross down there end up keeping us up, and that we can scrape a couple of wins and a couple more draws in the last 10.
  3. Positives - Sammie Szmodics 2 points at Ewood from losing positions in the last 10 days, more than the last 2 years combined! Doubled our points tally over 22nd place. Negatives - Everything else.
  4. Normally I agree, and looking at there last couple of results everything is pointing to an away win. However, this is the Championship and us winning tonight wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. I think it would be a false dawn because i don't see us winning 2 or 3 in a row but I can definitely see us winning tonight.
  5. We'll show some fight and win this. Then lose to Plymouth at the weekend and the cycle starts again.
  6. I've dismissed relegation this season for as long as it's been a thought. Always thought next season would be the time with more budget cuts and sales of anyone that can generate interest. Even now I look at it and think with the amount of teams below us everything would have to go against us to go down. Lose on Tuesday though and I will finally be concerned I think. What a mess.
  7. No chance. We'll carry on plodding on like this for a good while yet.
  8. In that time we have gone behind 19 times at Ewood, lost 17 and drew 2.
  9. 2 points won from losing positions at Ewood since March 22
  10. This is definitely the Eustace word for "journey" or "project". Never read the word so many times! For what it's worth me and the lad went last night with it being our half term, thought the side looked a bit leggy and really off it on the ball until Buckley came on. Cardiff still managed to create 3 or 4 good openings though and would have beat us quite easily with better finishing. Happy with the point and clean sheet, but still think there some heavy defeats to come yet this season. Luckily with at least 5 or 6 sides as bad as us around us I think that keeps us up. Next season is going to be horrific though I feel, we'll make Rotherham look competitive.
  11. Its not a "traditional" midweek round of games that's why, these are games that have been rearranged because of cup commitments. Although home clubs can opt for it to be shown at there own discretion. More likely is that Rovers will announce at about 5/6pm tomorrow that you can purchase it for £10.
  12. Never been more certain of a defeat in my life. Rovers just don't do these long Tuesday night away games well at all. Cardiff 2 Rovers 0
  13. Your friends must all be full of hyperbole. Didn't one of them say that we were playing the best football he had ever seen after a 3-1 defeat to Watford during covid?!
  14. We beat Bury twice in league one though. Which if you think about it is an incredible feat considering a good portion of our fanbase think we would be where they are without our wonderful owners.
  15. Can't imagine Gregg is giving this gig up easily, he's in a position that he doesn't look remotely qualified for to me. He moves on and he's taking a huge backwards step in terms of club, position, and salary at his next job IMO.
  16. So? Are they both that unprofessional that they couldn't get on with there jobs for a few more weeks and see where the landscape was at the end of the window? It was purely financial and that's all there is to it.
  17. Like the home game, they will be far too strong both physically and mentally or our poor little lambs. Preston 3 Rovers 0.
  18. Kenny lost his first official game away at Swindon, then got pumped 3-0 by Southend a couple of weeks later. Souness only won 3 of his first 10 in charge. Hughes only won 2 of his first 15 in charge. While last night was dire of course it's not always a new manager bounce, the squad is unbalanced and poor, and will only stay up because there are 3 worse teams below us, no matter who is in the dug out.
  19. Bottom 3 will be Rotherham, Sheff Wed and Stoke. 3 Woeful sides that will save us.
  20. Needs to get himself on a plane to India in the summer to tell them how amazing they are, that's the only way you get a bit of backing with these fools.
  21. I just don't see McGuire happening. There is a perfect get out now by claiming the new head coach doesn't want him.
