  1. End of the day the majority of match goers at a club like Rovers would much prefer to see Eustace or Mogga football than what they deemed JDT’s to be - i’e “pissing about wi’ it”. People on here might not get it, but that’s been my observation.
  2. Makes a change for us to use the dark arts like everybody else does… more please!
  3. Find some bowlers that can consistently bowl fast, that will help us to win in Australia… but yeah use their ball for a bit, that’ll do.
  4. He’s a handy player at this level… and now the next one to leave for a pittance.
  5. Why do people always do this on a win thread? This board’s been great fun, some good debate and discussion since FT yet some folk always have to try and derail it by pretending that brfcs is still ‘whinging’, being ‘negative’. Weird.
  6. It’s been boom time for attendances across the game (apart from here), so it will be interesting to see in a year’s time if the constant pissing about with KOs, the majority of your home games on TV impacts ST sales. You see it with the red button games, loads of ST holders at clubs sweve them, but they still buy a ST as generally there are still plenty of non-Sky 3pm KOs to go to, that won’t be the case going forward and it will give them a decision to make.
  7. And JDT had plenty of rumblings from day one. All anecdotal but I never got the feeling that Ewood ever took to him - and I certainly haven’t seen any pining for him since he left (the said pining a few on here get accused of).
  8. Think people are confusing brfcs with real life again. Not sure I’ve heard a single negative comment about him ‘IRL’. All this ‘folk are against him because they see him as a Swag, appointment, a yes man’ is pure brfcs stuff. He seems more popular with match goers than JDT ever was already.
  9. Big pizza, but a sugar free drink - smart lad.
  10. What’s that got to do with traffic at Ewood?
  11. What leadership qualities do you see in Hyam?
  12. Cracking following considering the ever increasing debacle of this season - plus £35 a pop for a dinner time Sky game. The away support is the best it’s been for a long, long time, this club and its fanbase is dormant, but the potential is still there - but yeah, ‘shit support’, ‘nobody would ever buy us’, ‘Bury’.
  13. If you don’t like traffic don’t move next to a football ground.
  14. So if you don’t think we’ll win at Leeds, as the evidence points to it being unlikely, you have a ‘negative attitude in life’? So I presume we should all just predict us to win every single match?
  15. What leadership qualities do you see in Hyam?
  16. Just cliched banality; ‘no excuses’, ‘be positive’, ‘togetherness’, ‘shut out the noise’. Don’t bother reading or listening to it, you’ll feel better for it.
  17. Slopey shoulder to the Club Secretary, who’d have thought it…
  18. Even if it was a manager decision, not financial, why are they loaning out the captain when said manager is about to be removed from post?
  19. Despite having a very good season by our standards last term, plenty simply never took to him. They much prefer your standard lower league conveyor belt manager - you hear it at Ewood, you see it on this thread.
  20. Don’t you buy a match ticket most weeks? Is that not doing the same? In fact he’ll make more out of you.
  21. If JDT’s record this season had been as poor as this mon’s we’d be pretty much down already.
  22. Not a chance they are pricing weekend games at £15-£20. Those games are all about Swag fleecing away support, the home support is an afterthought.
  23. Hedges would struggle to get a game at Accy? Behave, Rev 😀
  24. Yeah but it’s the biggest borough in the country, or something…
  25. You’ve said that about twenty times. August will come and go and they will still be in situ (possibly with accompanying statement #100 outlining their unwavering commitment).
