  1. Just on Sheff Wednesday, the word from South Yorkshire is they're playing much better than results would suggest and certainly won't be a push over. They firmly believe the Championship gods are against them and they're already doomed, but I've cheered them up by telling them how bad we are, which the result at Hillsborough earlier in the season confirmed.

Both clubs are run by bonkers owners, Chansiri has sacked every football person at the club, they have no board, no structure and he makes all the decisions! He is refusing to buy any players until the fans show him more respect, What could possibly go wrong......

    Rovers 2 Sheff Weds 0

  2. He was excellent yesterday, never gave the ball away, loads of time on the ball, the sign of a real top class player.

It really sticks in my crow that we gave him away because we have incompetent owners who couldn't find there own arses with both hands, its criminal, a Rovers fan and season ticket holder too 😠

You asked the question.  The original initiative was from We Are The Rovers the Supporters Trust; it is clearly within our remit and aims to build and rebuild lost support.

We approached the Club who were supportive.  We were actively supported by formal supporters organisations such as Proud Rovers, the South Asian Supporters.  We also had the backing of a number of people from this messageboard including Ian Herbert who did some excellent work and his input cannot be underestimated.

It was, to reiterate, an award for a specific We Are The Rovers initiative involving other groups and a lot of decent folk from brfcs.com

I am proud of the award and hopefully it puts WATR in an even stronger position to influence the Club.

Thank you to everyone on this board, particularly Ian Herbert, 4000 Holes and Roverschat.  If I have missed anyone out I am happy to be chastised.

So you should be Mike 👍

Its easy to criticize from the comfort of an armchair, but we do have fans that give up precious time to try and make a difference, you should all be proud of your efforts.

The title of the award is a little misleading though, I almost spat my brew out, not knowing the reason it had been awarded.

When you look into the facts of the case it was physically impossible for him to have done it.

What utter bullshit Upside down, if you believe he never murdered Goldman and Nicole I’ve a bridge to sell, going cheap, over the Thames, I’ll do you a good deal.

    👍

  5. Watching Arsenal and Liverpool throwing away points today, if you’d have put £10 accumulator on

    Plymouth to beat Leicester 6/1

    Blackburn to beat Leeds 8/1

    Palace to beat Liverpool 10/1

    Villa to beat Arsenal 9/1

    You’d have won £69,300 (I think)

It’s a funny old game football, Anyone take the bet?

I still have some adrenalin running through me this morning after yesterday and pretty much everything has been written about the great win but yesterday the Rovers fans were terrific. I saw lots of Rovers fans at Leeds who I had seen only two days before at Bristol but still they turn up such is their devotion. Apart from Marching on Together pre match I hardly heard the Leeds supporters and Eustace and the players deserve credit for that but Rovers fans were at it for the duration. Even the M62 being a car park and having to come home on the back roads couldn't spoil our day 😂😂.

Made up for you and the rest of the Rovers hordes, you deserved that after the debacle in midweek.

I must admit, watching yesterday reminded me so much of Rovers games late 80’s when we were pushing for promotion. The pressure does funny things to teams, you can’t do anything about it as Leeds and Leicester found out this weekend and we found out to our cost many times late 80’s.

I'm really desperate and after checking the weather forecast for Leeds it has changed to an 80% chance of rain between 1 and 3 pm and in my view the wetter the pitch the higher the tempo Leeds will play at. I can normally find some little thing to give me hope before any game but today I can't - even the weather Gods are conspiring against us.

This is how most fans felt before we went to Sunderland and smashed them 5-1 Tony. This is a Leeds side that couldn't beat the same Sunderland side on Tuesday.

    I'm reaching I know......

    Wednesday confirmed a 7000 sellout.

Waggott confirmed a Rovers sellout but not on the ticket front.

The bad news of being humiliated at Bristol City last night quickly buried by 7000 Owls coming to town and boosting his balance sheets.

Very good JH, made me laugh out loud that one 🤣

Annoying, but the Burnley fans at work are frothing about it.

"You're going bust and you still only gave us 2000 tickets" 🤣

We went off the home gates they used to get in 80's, a further allocation would have been pointless 😉

This cockwomble has also given Sheff Wed  the full 7k therefore giving them their cup final when literally everything should be done to be providing every ounce of home advantage we can find.

He genuinely doesn't give a fuck about anything other than his bonus related income sheet.

You would hope they're drawing up plans right now to offer home fans entrance for £10 and get the place sold out.

    I do.

Those responsible for running the club fully deserve to go down. 100%.

On the field, we are shit because of them.

The trouble is that those running the club don't deserve to be anywhere near Blackburn Rovers.

Of course, the fans don't deserve this.

I don't want relegation, but even if we did survive, which is highly unlikely, more of the same from The Undertaker et al will surely deliver the drop within 12 months anyway.

    Fck off, Venky's!!!!

Spot on Len, especially the part highlighted above.

I think we'll survive, I believe we'll beat Sheff Weds, then everyone will breath a huge sigh of relief, job done, everything in the garden is rosy, we dodged a bullet, positivity reigns supreme, then next season arrives.......Rinse and repeat.

  13. I don't agree with posting abuse online, although I have on occasion told Abbey to 'go away' 🤣

But didn't his wife wage war on Rovers fans, who abused Murphys abject performances online, by posting pictures of her Christian Louboutin shoes! Explaining that her shoe collection would buy a house in Blackburn.

Pairs of ****s and I don't mean the shoes.
